Feeding The Fishers [closed patrol]

Swanpetal stood close to the edge of the camp, waiting for Flurryshine and Hailsong to arrive and hoping she was doing a decent job of hiding her irritation. It wasn't, after all, directed at any of her Clanmates, but purely towards herself. Physically, she was fine, but she still felt like she was weak. Hopefully continuing to contribute to her Clan in any way she could would help with that as time went on, but for now it left her always just a little bit on edge, like she had to defend herself for daring to exist when she knew perfectly well that she didn't.

It was fine, she was fine, and this patrol would be fine. It had been a long time since she really had a chance to socialize with the rest of her Clanmates, anyway. Did she even really know any of them anymore? This was an opportunity, and she shouldn't waste it. She just needed to relax and stop overthinking things so much.

The small, lean cat walked to the meeting point for the patrol where the silvery warrior was waiting. Hailsong gave her a short nod as a greeting and then settled down to wait for Flurryshine, the last member of the group. "I hope we have good luck today. I'm getting tired of predators attacking during patrols." She commented, licking her front paw as she took a glance of Swanpetal. They never truly interacted but that didn't mean they couldn't start now. If the other she-cat could endure her depressed, salty temper sometimes, then maybe they could be actual friends. It was not like she had so many right now, either.

Flurryshine padded over to the other two gathered she-cats, offering both of them a smile, her vibrant green eyes glistening with more happiness and serenity than she had felt in a few moons. Offering a nod to Hailsong, she turned her head to the other molly whom she had never met before. She was born after Swanpetal's disappearance from RiverClan, so to learn that she was once her Clanmate was quite surprising. However, she wasn't about to not try and befriend her -- so long as she didn't get on her nerves anyway.

With a short huff of breath at Hailsong's comment, she licked her white paw and drew it over her fluff-tipped ears a few times. "Yes, I am so over predator attacks. I just want to have a nice, calm, relaxing fishing patrol. You mollies have no idea how difficult it is to wash out bloodstains from white fur." Just the thought of mismatched, faded crimson splotches ruining her beautiful snow-white coat made her uneasy, and she involuntarily drew her tongue over her fluffy chest a few times.
