Why have you chosen to have these cats have a forbidden romance?:

For Dewshine, it's a case of determination to prove that she isn't wrong to forgive, and that all cats can be redeemed. She feels like her place in RiverClan is in question due to her own views and opinions of which she believes whole-heartedly in forgiveness, to a point in which she is almost blind but isn't willing to completely give up her life in RiverClan. She sees Gingerstripe as a tom who has learned from his mistakes, and is willing to put herself in a further vunerable position if it ultimately could save him from a lonely existance on the fringes of Clan society. "Sure he's a loner now, but he was once a clan cat and must have honour despite his mistake." This will end up evolving to a full-blown romance as she will become more attached to him as time passes and he proves that she wasn't wrong to trust him. Even if it means she has to leave her clan in the end, she'll still have Gingerstripe by her side.

Do you understand that StarClan potentially may reveal the romance to Medicine cats?: Yes. It shall be one of Dewshine's greatest fears.
