Plot

Part 1: From the Background to the Fore

Dewshine is a quiet she-cat. Gentle, kind, forgettable. This all changes when she saves an apprentice from death. Suddenly, everything shifts. For a moment, she isn't forgettable, she's pulled into the near spotlight. Dewshine takes to this happily. Her opinion is noticed, her voice is heard. That's when she notices him. A tom who is smooth-talking and speaks of liking her before she became more noticable. Dewshine is enthralled by this, and let's herself fall for this tom.
