Training for Chamomilepaw (closed)

Padding into the apprentice den, Mudfoot found Chamomilepaw's pelt among the other bundles of sleeping cats and gently prodded the apprentice's side. "Chamomilepaw, wake up," the tom meowed softly. Tonight, he'd take his new apprentice on a patrol and hopefully they'd be able to get around to most of the borders.

I will catch you ! Chamomilepaw leapt on the mouse but..She wokes up ! In front of her, she saw Mudfoot.

" Yeah.. I'm coming.. "

A few minutes later , she joined the warrior. Tired , the apprentice yawned.

Glad that she'd woken up so fast, Mudfoot padded out of the apprentice den and over towards the camp entrance. Once he reached the area in which they would leave, he turned around, waiting for the she-cat to join him. "Today we'll patrol the borders. Ready to go?" he asked when she caught up.

Now she was awakened.Yeah, of course ! Excited, she went first.

Glad that the younger she-cat was ready to go, Mudfoot padded after the apprentice so that they walked through the territory side by side. "We're going to patrol the Thunderpath border, so follow me and stay close," he mewed warningly as they made their way through the marshy land.

Not long after they'd left camp, the two of them reached their first destination. "This is the Thunderpath," he spoke, wrinkling his nose at the foul scent that the unnatural, black path held. "Monsters run along it and they are very dangerous and have killed many cats, so be careful and never get to close, alright?" Mudfoot added sternly, making sure she knew the true dangers of this place.

 « Of course ». Chamomilepaw put her nose in her fur. The smell was awful.

Glad she understood, Mudfoot turned in the direction of where they'd be heading next. Leading the apprentice to their next stop, they soon reached the next horrible smelling place. "Here we are," Mudfoot began. "Besides it smelling just as bad, what else do you know about this place?" the warrior asked, turning to his apprentice.

Chamomilepaw didn’t know anything about that place, except what her parents told. During a moment, she didn’t say anything until she remembered one thing she heard from others old apprentices. «  It’s dangerous, and behind there is the ThunderClan or Windclan. One of both, or both.. I am not sure ! »

Glad that she understood the dangers of the wretched smelling area, Mudfoot gave a nod. "That's right," he mewed with a nod and then turned in the direction of their next destination. "Next, we'll patrol the Carrion Place," the warrior mewed as he began to head to the next horrible smelling place.

The Carrion Place ? Once, a warrior spoke with her and told her that the smell was awful. Worst than the smell of the Thunderpath. She winced with a nod. « Is it far ? » she asked.

"Nope, not too far," he mewed and the two of them kept a steady pace in the direction of their next destination.

"This, is the Carrion Place," Mudfoot began when they arrived in front of a tall twoleg fence that separated them from the place. "Some things to know about here is that at times, it's crawling with Twolegs and giant monsters, but even when they're not around you have to be careful, for the rubbish is infested with hungry rats that won't hesitate to kill," he finished, feeling a bit bad that there were so many things to warn the apprentice about.

"Well, that's about all their is to show you about borders. Just make sure that when you patrol them you mark where you went and keep a look out for any intruding clan cats," he mewed and turned back in the direction of camp. "Ready to head back?" the russet pelted tom mewed with a smile to his apprentice.

 «  Our territory is so dangerous, between this place and the Thunderpath.. » said the apprentice. She wasn’t really afraid, she was brave so it wasn’t a problem. But hunt and be careful won’t be easy for her who can’t do two things in same time.

"Yes, it does. But, there are also good things about our territory, like how we have plenty of space, unlike some of the other clans," Mudfoot pointed out with a smile as he began walking back to camp.

« Did you visite others territories ?»she asked. She wanted to know how was territories of others clans.

OOC: we should finish this up since its a v old topic and Mud is dead now and such ;;

IC: "Yes, I have," he mewed in reply. "But that lesson will be for next time," the tom added and turned in the direction of camp. "Let's head back," he added and began making his way back home.
