Blossomkit's Apprentice Ceremony

Crowstar exited his den from the hollow tree and jumped up onto Tall Branch and called out to his clan. "Let all cats old enough to climb a tree gather here for a clan meeting!" The leader looked down, waiting on his clan.

Dandeliondapple made her way to the clearing, knowing that Blossomkit was about to be apprenticed. It made her smile, thinking fondly of their time in the nursery together.

Blossomkit bounded up next to her mother, forcing herself to sit. It's my turn I'll bet!

"Blossomkit you have reached the age of Six moons, and so it is time for you to become an apprentice." Crowstar said. "From this moment on, until you earn your warrior name, you will be known as Blossompaw. Your mentor will be Elmcloud. I hope he passes all that he knows onto you." The leader said before jumping down to end the ceremony.

IC: Blossomkit- no, she was Blossompaw now- tried to keep her excitement in as she stood to touch noses with Elmcloud.

A large portion of Elmcloud was surprised that Crowstar was allowing him to handle the delicate task of training an apprentice- after all, he was more than confident Rippedsky had often relayed his lack of interest in attending to his duties.

Nevertheless, he couldn't help but allow his chest to puff out with pride as he took his time striding towards the newly-named Blossompaw, taking a moment to revel in his brief moment of glory. His first apprentice! Feeling the arrogant smirk twist his muzzle, the ruddy brown tom gently leaned forwards to touch noses with the young she-cat. "I promise to make you the best Warrior that SkyClan's ever seen." Elmcloud breathed, one eye dropping closed in a friendly wink as he pulled away from the Apprentice.
