The tom smirked happily to see that even without a mentor by her side, Patchpaw was actually a pretty capable hunter. Maybe she would be a warrior soon with those abilities.

Firestone continued his hunting and found a lizard enjoying the sun over a log. The warrior walked to it slowly, being sure that the small animal wasn't looking at him, and then he pounced toward it. His claws pressed its back with all his weight and the reptile died quickly. He grabbed it in his jaws and hid it with the rest of the prey. Four pieces of prey... that wasn't bad at all during leafbare!

Lilacfall gave Russetpaw an encouraging smile. As she did so, she spotted a mouse before she caught its scent. She made her way toward it with slightly less caution than before, and pounced quickly, hoping that if she missed the snow would keep it from moving too far. As it was, she needn't have worried, because she landed directly on top of it. Delivering a swift killing bite, she deposited the mouse in the hiding place next to her frog.
