Snowkit was bored, just being carried around. He knew these two young cats were from a family. A place where cats were happy being together. Well, that's what he thought. That kept his mind filled with questions.

'Where are Quillkit and my family?' he thought, 'Did they leave us alone in the forest to die?'

His sadness and anger rose together, also with curiosity. 'Did our parents hate us?' Snowkit couldn't keep that question out of his head. He was getting tired, slowly and slowly. He let out a little growl of tiredness and frustration. His mind went blank for a moment. He felt his nose a bit runny and numb. Snowkit sneezed a few times.

"I-I'm C-c-cold..." he said shivering.
