Training patrol for Echopaw (closed)

Padding through the dimly lit camp and over to the apprentice sleeping area, Smokepelt found Echopaw's sleeping pelt and prodded it gently with a white paw. "Wake up," the tom mewed and made his way over to the camp entrance. Sitting down and wrapping his tail over his paws, he let out a yawn as he waited for his apprentice to join him.

Echopaw jumped up in the air and quickly looked around, he saw Smokepelt sitting by the entrance and quickly dashed over to him "S-sorry Im late" he meow nervously and looked at him.

Turning to Echopaw who was running over to him, Smokepelt gave a yawn and turned towards the camp entrance. "You're fine. Let's get going," he mewed and began padding out of the camp and onto the open moorlands.

Echopaw followed his mentor out the camp. When they came out camp he looked around the moorlands. He was finally a apprentice and he was now allowed to go out camp.

Make their way through the open territory, Smokepelt trotted towards the Thunderpath with his apprentice close behind. Soon enough, the two toms reached the horrible smelling path and opening his mouth, he scented for anything peculiar, though there wasn't anything out of the ordinary. "Do you already know anything about the Thunderpath?" he asked, looking to Echopaw.

"Well there is something called monsters on it and if it attacks you could die or get hurt really badly. " he answerd and looked at his mentor. "And there is twolegs in the monsters, right?" he continued. He sniffed the air and frowned his nose at the awful smell.

Nodding his head, he was glad that his apprentice at least new something about the Thunderpath, and hopefully about the territory borders as well. "Yep. We also make sure that no ShadowClan cats cross the border, though that rarely ever happens unless something bad happened," Smokepelt mewed simply. "Ready to go patrol the gorge border?" he asked, tilting his head in the direction of their next destination.

"Yes of course I am" he quickly replied to his mentor and smiled slightly and turned towards the direction Smokepelt showed.

Making their way towards their next destination, the two toms soon reached the border. Stopping a little ways from the gorge itself, he didn't want to risk anything. "This is the gorge border. What do you know about it?" the warrior mewed over the roaring water bellow.

"Hmm.. Not so much..." he answerd and looked at the gorge "But on the other side of the border is Riverclans territory, right? And there is sometimes border fight here I guess?" he continued a little unsure about if he's answerd had been correct.

Nodding his head, Smokepelt was surprised that his apprentice knew so much already, but he was happy, none the less. When Echopaw mentioned border fights, the memories of the mistakes that he'd made at this border ages ago flashed into his mind, but he quickly shook them away. "Good job. I can tell that you've been listening to plenty of conversations while being stuck in camp," the tom mewed stoically. "Let's head back to camp. We'll work on hunting later today," he added and began padding towards the direction of the camp.

He smiled slightly "Well there was not so much to do otherwise." he answers him. "Okay" he nodded and followed his mentor back towards camp.
