Goldenpaw's first hunting patrol

Goldenpaw followed Firelight out of camp, with Darkpaw and Graystream right behind her.

Why dont we split up? We can get prey better that way.

"That's the idea," Graystream meowed in reply as he flicked his tail in the direction for each cat to go, "Goldenpaw, you'll be Hunting at the Owl Tree, Darkpaw, you'll be hunting near the Twoleg place, Firelight, you'll be Hunting near Sunningrocks, don't get to close to the border, good luck everyone!" Graystream finished as he waited for all of them to set off.

Goldenpaw padded along the trail to the owl tree, hoping to get a whiff of mouse or rabbit. When she was at the owl tree, she heard some leaves rustling in front of her. Instinct told her to drop into the hunter's crouch, moving forwards, step by step, closer and closer..... When she was close enough, she pounced. The squirrel let out a small squeak of surprise. Goldenpaw finished it off with a swift bite to the neck. Perfect! She thought. She burried the squirrel and carried on looking.

Nice catch! Darkpaw mewed happily.

OOC: Um.... aren't you supposed to be near twoleg place?


Darkpaw's voice surprised Goldenpaw. "What are you doing here?" She meawed in confusion. "You're supposed to be near Twoleg place......"

OOC: Really? A patrol or something?
Oh. I didn't know.

"Well hurry up and go!" Goldenpaw meawed urgently. "We don't want Greystream or Firelight to find you here, you'll be fresh kill if they do!"

"Hurry up!" Goldenpaw told Darkpaw.

Graystream stood in front of the gorse tunnel leading to camp waiting for the other three cats to appear. He had a starling and a thrush in his mouth.

Darkpaw appered with two mice dangling by there tails and a squirrel.
Heres what i caught!

"I suppose not," He replied with a glint of humor in his eyes, "I've been waiting a while for you guys to return," He meowed as he looked at the two cats, "Where's Goldenpaw?" He asked as his tail started to move from side to side.
