A patrol for Russetpaw (closed)

OOC: Okay, I was blanking out, and I still kinda am for some reason, but I think I know what you mean.. it's probably rlly obvious xD

Russetpaw kept a cautious distance from the edge of the gorge. "Do I know anything about RiverClan? Um, I know that they swim and like to eat fish! And I think I heard someone say that they have very sleek and shiny pelts!"

IC: RiverClan was definitely one of the easiest clans to differentiate between the others, so it's wasn't a surprise that Russetpaw knew a thing or two about them. "Yep, that's correct," he mewed with a smile. "RiverClan cats are also the only cats who truly enjoy getting their fur wet, which is where they got their name from," Tinylegs added and sniffed the air for anything unusual, though the only scent of cats he got was fairly stale, probably from earlier in the morning.

"That's weird!" Russetpaw exclaimed."I'd never want to get my fur wet! I think I'll always stick to hunting on land and eating mice and squirrels!"

"I'm with ya on that one," the little white tom chuckled. "Well, everything seems fine here, shall we head back to camp?" Tinylegs asked his apprentice.

Russetpaw stared at the gorge, tempted to get closer, but he knew better. "Huh? Oh yeah, sure."

Trotting back to the SkyClan camp, Tinylegs looked up to Russetpaw. "You did a great job today. Next time, I'll teach you all there is to know about hunting in the trees," he mewed with a smile, personally excited to train his apprentice more, even though he wasn't exactly the best hunter in the clan.
