You wanna go? Let's go! (closed)

Wildpaw stretched her legs evenly as a patrol consisting of her father and one of her sisters checked the Skyclan border. The sun was slowly seeping under the horizon and the birds slowly stopped chirping one by one. The first few stars shined and the air was getting colder. She lightly nudged Lilacpaw's side. "Hey, what do you think are the chances of running into a Skyclan patrol at this time of night?"

Rowantalon shook his head. "Not very likely. Skyclan cats are probably getting ready to sleep."
The spotted tom stifled a yawn. "Let's get this over with." Gen sighed.

"Dad's probably right," Lilacpaw agreed. "We probably won't find any."
She wasn't sure if that made her sad or not.
On one paw, she wanted to prove herself to her Clan, but on the other...
She didn't know if she could.

Emerging from the foliage on the SkyClan side of the border, Night of Stormy Gales stepped out into the sun, light shining off of his sleek black pelt. Looking over his shoulder, his leaf-green eyes twinkled as he smiled back at the two cats following him, his friend from the Tribe, Frost the Blankets the Brook, and a clan apprentice named Curlypaw. Flicking his tail, the foreign tom purred calmly in a joking manner; "Come on you two, the prey will all have died of old age by the time we get there at this speed." He had noticed the other patrol out of the corner of his eyes - the Shadow Clan was the one across the way right? - but he paid them no heed. They weren't trespassing as far as he was aware; so why bother with them?
