Speed Action [Open Patrol]

The pale light of dawn broke the horizon, warming Mottleheart's fur as he strolled his way toward the entrance of the camp. His tail flickered, feeling strangely at ease despite all that had happened to the Clan - and himself - in the last moon. His chest and back leg was covered in scars but he was lucky enough to have no lasting pain thanks to Beetlewing and Sagepaw. A soft yawn escaped his fanged mouth as he shook off what remain of tiredness stilled gripped him, having been assigned to the morning patrol. He wasn't fully sure on who would accompany him today but any presence was welcomed...Anything to keep this feeling of 'normal' alive.

Gustpuddle had been wanting to stretch her legs for a while, and so she decided to join Mottleheart on his patrol. She quickly got up from her nest, padding over to him with the slightest sway in her step. "Hey there, Mottleheart." She purred,"Looking for someone to join you?" She meowed, the slightest tone of sadness in her voice from the thought of the recent disappearance of her mate. She was with his kits, so she knew that she would have to hold onto that.
