Dawnkit and Adderkit's Apprentice Ceremony

It was beginning to cool down for the day, with the sun slowly inching ever closer to the horizon. Darkstar hopped onto the highest rock and called out, "All cats old enough to catch their own prey, gather for a clan meeting!"

Adderkit stepped from the nursery the charcoal spotted she kit fur was groomed as best as she could get it on her own. She sat down quietly among the gathering crowd

Dawnkit skipped out of the nursery, her golden fur wild. She scrambled into the crowd happily- it was always nice to see the other cats. Life in the nursery could be so boring sometimes.

The she-cat shifted her paws anxiously waiting for the leader to start. She looked around while she waited- cats were starting to gather.

OOC: Please do not double-post. I understand that it's frusrating to have to wait for too long, but in this situation it's best to PM your leader, and if she doesn't respond within three days, then PM the deputy explaining the situation.

ooc- Since it has been a week since Thin was online, Foxkit's ceremony will be performed at a later date.

ic- "We gather here to transform two kits into apprentices. Dawnkit and Adderkit, both of you have reached the age of six moons and it time that you became apprenticed. Please step forward." Once the two had done so, the leader continued. "From this moment on, until you each receive your warrior names, you will be known as Dawnpaw and Adderpaw. Your mentors will be Driftcloud and Specklefang, respectfully. I know that she is a young warrior herself, but I know she has the knowledge to teach you well." With a nod, Darkstar leaped off to end the ceremony.

Dawnpaw grinned, padding over to touch noses with her new mentor driftcloud

Deiftcloud gasped. A second apprentice? She would never of believed herself to ever have one, let alone two! Happily the dusty grey she-cat touched noses with her new apprentice.
