Won't you go to someone else sleep? [closed]

Ambere eyes stared back at her and a cruel mocking laughter rang out. This was not what they were suppose to see. They weren't suppose to see him dead. Hazeflight collapsed in front of the broken body of her son. The blackness of his pellt all she recognised. His face mutilated and body covered in scars. Standing above his body was Wolffang, her eyes gleaming darkly. A smirk crossed the grey she-cat's face and she lunged for Puddlepaw, who stood on Hazeflight's other side, her blue eyes heavy with tears. Haz3flight jumped forward trying to stop Wolffang, but the cat dived straight through her...

Hazeflight kicked in her nest, her heart pounded against her chest. Wolffang was gone, she couldn't torture her anymore. Flamestrike told her that her grey daughter had ran for the hills. That she had ran father than High stones. Wolffang was gone. All was fine.

She tried to sleep again, but the dream came back more vivid. Wolfgang's smirk, Badgerpaw's mutilated body, Puddlepaw's howls of grief and pain, they were all there, but more vivid. It tore at Hazeflight's mind, digging its long fingernails in and searching for what tortured her the most. It was horrible. The only relief was to stay awake, the dark was not taking her prisoner again tonight.

Hazeflight's blue eyes flickered open and she gazed down at her nest. It was in ruins, moss everywhere and sticks strewn about the den. She was a disgrace, a foul half-blood. She didn't deserve to be in a clan with all these cats who were happy and were loyal. She was a half-breed traitor, what good was she to them?

Hazeflight slowly began to pick out the moss and twigs and take them outside. No one had to see no one had to know. She was fine, everything was fine.

Everything was not fine and Hazeflight was far from fine.

The silver She-cat began to gather some more moss and twigs. She carefully arranged them within the warriors den, till they looked right, till it looked like an insane cat hadn't slept there. Hazeflight dragged herself out of the den and curled herself up beside the fresh-kill pile with a scrawny shrew. She'd stay awake, besides the clan would be getting active soon.

Hazeflight was certain she'd be left alone, but deep down she just wanted to vent and let the tears flow. All the cats she loved were gone. All she had done was watch. Hazeflight really was useless a piece of Mouse dung clinging onto something she had lost many moons ago. What was the point?

Snakeblaze slowly opened his eyes. He felt the calm breathes of his sleeping clanmates, but he felt one stronger than the rest. He turned his head around and got up. He walked around until he noticed Hazeflight awake. "Can't sleep, Hazeflight?" he asked softly.

The She-cat whipped her head up in surprise, she didn't expect anyone else to be up. Hazeflight nodded as Snakeblaze spoke. "No," she mewed hoarsely shuffling over slightly to let him sit next to her. She lifted her head to look at Snakeblaze and a soft smile formed on her face. She hadn't talked to the tom in ages. " I had a bad dream, that's all. Besides, the rest of the clan will be up soon. I guess an early start is a... Good start..." she meowed her voice faltering and shaking slightly. Hazeflight inhaled deeply then placed her head tiredly on her paws. She'd love to be asleep, but she couldn't face another dream again.

Snakeblaze nodded. "It isn't uncommon to have a bad dream or two. I don't believe StarClan would send them." he said. He flicked his ear. "Just out of curiosity, what did you dream about?" he asked.

Hazeflight lifted her head, he didn't believe StarClan would send her bad dreams? Hazeflight dug her claws into the ground, StarClan had never been there for her when she needed them, why would they help her now? The Bengal she-cat blinked her tired eyes, she didn't want to recount the dream, but maybe Snakeblaze could help after all. Wolffang, I dreamed about my daughter... I d-dreamed that she killed..." her voice faltered again, no one in the clan other than Leopardstar and Thrushstripe knew of Badgerpaw's existence, should she tell him? Hazeflight sighed she probably shouldn't, but right now she needed all the help she could get. I dreamed that she killed Badgerpaw, my other son, he lives in SkyClan. Oh, please don't tell anyone else... The rest of the clan don't need to know. Don't worry, Leopardstar already knows... " she meowed desperately begging the tom not to tell anyone. Hazeflight couldn't deal with anymore drama within the clan. " His body was mutilated and... After s-she k-killed Badgerpaw, W-w--wolffang k-killed Puddlepaw... And t-thenI w-woke up." stuttered Hazeflight her eyes brimming with tears. Wolffang wasn't that cruel was she?

Snakeblaze looked at Hazeflight. "I wont tell anyone." he reassured. "Wolffang can't hurt Badgerpaw and Puddlepaw anymore. They are closer to you than you believe." he said. 

Hazeflight shook her head. "Yes, she can!"she meowed her paws trembling. "Puddlepaw is missing... And Wolffang is still alive! For all I know s-she c-could of k-killed P-p-p-puddlepaw!" her heart hammered against her chest as she thought about Puddlepaw being gone, for good. Her sweet Puddlepaw wouldn't be gone, Wolffang wasn't that cruel, was she?

Hazeflight turned her gaze back to Snakeblaze, he had no idea about any of this, he had no idea who Badgerpaw was. Her claws dug into the ground in fear and anguish. " I have no idea if Badgerpaw is even alive... I've never seen him at a gathering... And... His father won't tell me anything... I pray to StarClan that he is okay. I d-doubt it through." mewed Hazeflight her eyes falling back down to the soft earth beneath her paws.

IC: Hazeflight dug her claws deeper into the ground, Snakeblaze just didn't understand. Looking at the bright side had got her nowhere, didn't Snakeblaze know that? All her friends were dead, all her family was dead and the clan hated her. There was no bright side to that.

Hazeflight tore a clump of dirt and roots out of the ground and then began to claw at it, her eyes boring into it. It felt good to attack the mound of dirt and roots, releasing some of her anger that had been bottled up. The silver warrior sighed deeply and through her head back onto her paws, glacing up at Snakeblaze with her icy eyes. "You don't understand, Snakeblaze. It's not that simple when you've seen what I've seen or done what I've done, you'll understand..." she growled softly.
