Nectarpaws Training

Silentstrike padded to where the apprentices slept, particularly his new apprentice, Nectarpaw who also happened to be his younger sibling. "Nectarpaw, today we will do some training. Meet me by the fresh-kill pile when you are ready." He prodded at the newly appointed apprentice's side, then padded towards the fresh-kill pile.

Nectarpaw nodded at Silentstrike's words. He then stretched and blinked a few times, before following his mentor to fresh-kill pile.
"What will we do today?" Nectarpaw asked with raising excitement. He wished he wasn't as tired, so he could act as excited as he felt. But something told him that that wouldn't be hard.

He flashed a smile when his apprentice showed excitement at the fact of his training."Well, I think I'll let you decide this time," He began to pad towards the entrance to camp. He waited a short while, letting his newly named apprentice gobble up his breakfast before heading out. When Nectarpaw arrived by his side, he continued."So, battle training or hunting?" He mewed curiously.

Nectarpaw let out a gasp of excitement, he would get to chose on his first day! Battle training sounded like it would be useful when he needed to brag to Sweetpaw, but catching his first prey would too. He randomly picked one and blurted out his answer.
"Hunting! So I can catch prey before Sweetpaw does!" Nectarpaw blurted out, then wondered if he should have left out the part about his sister. He hoped that it wasn't some sort of test. He looked up to Silentstrike to see what he would do next.

He chuckled, glad he had a good apprentice."Hunting it is then. I'm sure you're both gonna make mom proud." His little brother was definitely quite memorable, and he assumed it may be a challenge keeping him focused. But what could he say, he was the same when he was smaller."We'll get to the clearing first, and I'll teach you some stuff. Or we could patrol the borders? Whichever way you would like, but we'll do both either way." He stopped, looking to Nectarpaw for an answer before they went any farther.

"Whichever one is more-" Nectarpaw quickly stopped himself from saying fun,"I mean whichever one would be best for my training!" Nectarpaw didn't really care where he went next. As long he he got his training and it was fun. He was going to end up doing both, after all.

"Well then, I guess we could patrol the borders first. I'll show you around the territory, then we can work on hunting." His ear twitched as he spoke, and he was ready to go."Follow me." He turned to head to the nearest border, which would be the Thunderpath.

Nectarpaw nodded his head and grinned in anticipation. He turned himself towards the direction that Silentstrike was looking, and was ready to go wherever his mentor would take him. 
"Patrolling borders sounds great," Nectarpaw responded, and followed after his mentor just as he had been instructed. He tried his best to walk like he was on an actual patrol, and not bounce the whole way.

He smiled, continuing to make his way to the Thunderpath. When they finally made it there, he stopped to look at his apprentice."Alright, time to get serious. we're gonna go around all of the borders, and I'll teach you all you need to know. Now that we are here, do you know anything about the Thunderpath?"
