What is a Raccoon doing here? [Open]

Mottleheart blinked in surpise as two more cats showed up. What did it take to get some alone time with his kits? He sighed, not wishing to be rude in sending anybody off, he sat down as he watched his kits converse with the older cats. He smiled softly as they both agreed on wanting to be great warriors while Ravenkit spoke about wanting to stay close with her family. He did note that she didn't mention their mother - was it so clear to the kits that their own mother wished little to do with them? It didn't seem to bother them but it only made him want to be a great father even more.

He sat down, flickering his tail to draw in Ravenkit as he leaned down to nuzzle both of them. "They are going to be great warriors when they grow up," he purred, happy that the Clan seemed so eager to make sure that they were well. "I have no doubts in their abilities - they will make WindClan proud." He wasn't sure what else to say, having always been rather quiet and the small grow that was drawing was putting him off.

Ravenkit nuzzled her father back and laid down curled up against her fathers side as she purred. As she watched the older cats Ravenkit then started to get antsy. "dad can we go play in the snow together?" Ravenkit mewed looking at her dad.

Emberfall nodded as Ravenkit told her name to the she-cat. She smiled, as she introduced her sister.

Fadingkit looked up, awoken from her sleep by all the racket
" Can't a kit get some sleep? "
She wasn't in the mood to check what was going on, because a hour ago in the day, she had been hit by a lump of snow and she had been in the nursery ever since. She plopped her head back into the same spot it was in, and in a matter of a few seconds, she had fallen asleep in the moss

Ravenkit looked at the cranky kit. "Sorry for being excited." Ravenkit mewed annoyed.

Fadingkit's misty eyes flickered open
" I can't even see you, and yet you think you can disturb a clanmates rest. Put yourself in my paws and tell me what you think "
She huffed, her tail flicking to the side in annoyance before Fadingkit closed her eyes

Gustkit sighed at the two cats arguing, sad for the one that could not see. "You two should try to get along. It's no fun having to fight with your den-mates, especially as kits. You might grow to hate each other when your older, and that's never good." Wrapping her tail around her paws, she noticed Ravenkit wanting to play, and have fun. Afterall, she was only a kit. "Hey Ravenkit, I bet you can't catch me!" With a smile on her muzzle, she jumped to her feet, heading straight towards the other side of the nursery.

Ravenkit smiled and chased after Gustkit. "I bet I can!" Raven kit mewed

Fadingkit closed her eyes, yet she was still awake, listening to the cheerful mews of her den-mates. She wasn't always like this, it was her exiled mother who changed her life by making it miserable. She'd let a small sniff out, before falling into a deep sleep, hoping nightmares wouldn't haunt her.
