Black Speckled Sand [closed for Cloverpool]

Blacktwig was going to start his apprentice's first training session. He scowled when a puff of snow blew into his face, yet regained composure for the sake of young Sandpaw. He was a feisty, antisocial young tom, but Blacktwig had hopes that Sandpaw would transform into a great warrior, additionally well-acquainted with him, as a former mentor. He saw the apprentice's den, where his other apprentice, Halfpaw, still slept. She would luckily almost be a warrior. He readied himself for Sandpaw's arrival, wondering if he was as excited to be an apprentice as most other kits seemed.

Full of spite for the snow, he clawed the powder, leaving a mark that scored even into the muddy ground below. It seemed that the swiftly-melting snow was only a layer to the true ground. Around this time, Blacktwig would've expected it to be deeper. The depths of his violet-blue eyes gleamed as he saw Sandpaw emerge. He beckoned with his tail-tip for the youthful tomcat to come over.
