| Dawnpaw sighed and frowned with disappointment. Sure, she hadn't thought about whether she could actually trust him, but she felt that she just... could. The apprentice had already begun to consider him a friend, but her hopes were instantly crushed when Fishstar ordered him to leave. "But Fishstar!" she began, then hesitated. What could she possibly do to change the leaders mind. What did it even matter to her, anyway? Wasn't he just a rogue that she'd only met today?
Yeah.... but... Dawnpaw felt comfortable around him. He was polite and friendly. The she-cat was terribly worried. Fernpaw had a slim chance of survival - it was leafbare and he was only an apprentice. "Fishstar, please.... can you give him a chance? Just one?"
