Briarkit, Blazekit, and Flamekit's Apprentice Ceremony

"Let all cats old enough to capture their own prey gather underneath Jaggedrock for a clan meeting!" Mudfoot yowled under the night sky, jumping up to the top of the rock. Tonight he'd name some more apprentices and he was glad to see the clan growing.

Flamekit padded out into the clearing with a sigh. He figured it was time to watch more kits become apprentices without him. Most of the clan hadn't accepted the young orphan. He didn't have clan blood at all. Most cats were at least of mixed blood, but Flamekit? Nothing. It'd been moons of him taking up space in the nursery, trying to help out where he could. Most cats ignored him, but he was grateful they let him stay. Briarkit and Blazekit were probably old enough now. He smiled weakly, happy for his latest denmates, but still longing to one day be apprenticed.

Hazeflight padded over taking a seat beside Flamekit."Do you think it'll be your ceremony?"she meowed.Flamekit's ceremony was over due and she knew it.Why had they delayed it?

"Probably not, Hazeflight," He meowed softly. She was hopeful. Flamekit had hoped that shortly after his friend had been made a warrior that he might follow, but it hadn't happened yet. The tom doubted any Shadowclan warrior would want to mentor him. Maybe he'd get lucky and end up with Hazeflight someday. If it were any other cat, he just hoped to Starclan they wouldn't be too harsh.

She smiled."It could be you never know,besides you ceremony is far over due.I bet it is.Hope you get as good mentor!she meowed trying to be cheerful.It wasn't easy,Flamekit looked so down.Hazeflight probably couldn't help make him feel any better,the silver She-cat was useless at this sort of stuff.

Briarkit rushed out the nursery at the sound of the call and skidded on the wet ground when he stopped. He sat down and began to shake with excitement as he just knew he this was the day he took a big step to become a warrior.

Blazekit marched out of the nursery, and sat down underneath mudfoot, hoping this would be her ceremony.

"Tonight we gather to make these three kits apprentices," Mudfoot meowed as the clan gathered. "Briarkit, Blazekit, Flamekit, from now on until you receive your warrior names you will be known as Briarpaw, Blazepaw, and Flamepaw. Your mentors will be Foxheart, Hazeflight, and I, respectively. May we teach you everything that we know." With that, the tom leapt down from the rock and went to congradtulate the newly named apprentices.

Blazepaw padded over to mudfoot and touched noses with him, hoping to get well training and to become the best warrior in Shadowclan. " I hope to do you well, Mudfoot."

Flamepaw stood there shocked for a moment. The tom was big enough to almost be a warrior and he couldn't even believe he was made an apprentice.
"Hazeflight, I did it!" His eyes shone as he touched noses with her, his mentor.

Hazeflight let out a purr.She couldn't believe it!She was his mentor!The She-cat touched noses with Flamekit ,her blue eyes shining."I told you it would be your ceremony!"she purred before adding in a undertone"You'll be a far better warrior than them other cats."

Briarkit still was shaking with excitement as he touched noses with his new mentor Foxheart. He couldn't wait to start training "I cant wait to start!" His voice was rather squeaky but that was just him being exited
