| Eaglepaw wondered along in Twolegplace. She was told it was dangerous but she didn't mind. She would try it out and even if she got caught by twolegs she would have a story to tell when she escaped. Nothing bad would happen to her. All the apprentices would be wrong and she would be right. Besides, how do they know they're so mean? They haven't been out of camp and seen them themselves have they?
Soon, Eaglepaw approached a house. She walked along the fence and soon leaped up. Then, she jumped down. As she danced around with the flowers she couldn't quite hear. Then, the door wacked open and two small twolegs came out and screamed. It was a happy scream though. Eaglepaw was soon in the hands of two children fighting over her and taking them into their camp. |

| Hazepaw followed behind Eaglepaw.What was Eaglepaw upto now,she wondered."Eaglepaw,wait up!"she yowled.The silver apprentice bounded up to the fence where Eaglepaw was bouncing around on."We should he-"Then the twolegs rushed out bundling her best friend into there paws,squealing joyusly as they did so."Eaglepaw!No,no...Please,Eaglepaw!"Hazepaw yowled hopelessly.
The she-cat bounded after her captors.To late her best friend was already inside the twoleg den.Hazepaw stared at the house,refusing to accept that her best friend was gone."Eaglepaw...Come back,"But Hazepaw knew she wasn't.
