London Bridge is Falling Down, Falling Down, Falling Down (Closed for Thinny Thin-Thin)

Blacktwig was by the Thunderpath. The main reason why he chose this place to patrol was not because of the terrible smell that emanated from the black path, however, it was out of hope that he might see Emberfall. But this time he was with his mother, not on a solo patrol. He gazed into his mother's calm orbs, her slightly burnt-silver appearance giving them a slight spark. He always enjoyed spending time with his mother, and loved to impress her. But something was different, now. A bad aura lingered in the air.

(Now, I'm pretty sure no Ember or yes Ember?)

Mistywater walked with her son, she looked at her shadow following her steps and motion. She smiled and looks back up at Blacktwig "So, you know its dangerous here, right?" she asked with a purr. Now, this was when she was the tester of her kits, she would always make sure they had something to do. She looked at the monsters that raced across the Thunderpath as she waited for Blacktwig to answer. She was actually very proud of what he had become, such a strong warrior, a father...

The large tom glanced at his mother. "Yeah," he meowed, shrugging as he blinked big, vibrant, violet-blue eyes. "But I know that I'll be safe, don't worry." He gave a purr to reassure his mother. He could see the pride in her eyes, however, he enjoyed being more humble.

From Mistywater's experience in her long life so far, she knew words could shatter and brake into a million pieces. She knew the word safe was one of them that often broke. The fluffy gray she-cat nodded "I always need to worry about my kits" she meowed "And besides, that word safe doesn't always mean what its suppose to mean" she mewed.

Blacktwig nodded, stepping near a little bit. He wouldn't get hurt, would he? No. It was guaranteed. "I understand your concern," he said, giving his mother a knowing look. The one that a kit would give to their parents; one of mutual respect and worry for each other. Very few monsters had been on the path, recently, though.

Mistywater nodded "Now you have that" she purred "But I'm glad that you understand what parents go through. Besides, I can always help you with whatever with your kits" she mewed "Would you like to start patrolling the other border of the Thunderpath? Diagonal?" she asked.

Emberfall was seen at the other side of the Thunderpath, she was picking up a dead rabbit she had just caught, she looked up to see her mate, Blacktwig with his mother, Mistywater. She raced towards Blacktwig and dropped the rabbit "Blacktwig!" she shouted as she ran over. She was so caught up in running towards him she forgot to check the path before crossing...It was a monster.

"Oh, I think-" Blacktwig purred before breaking off abruptly, turning his gaze towards Emberfall. "Emberfall!" He shrieked, spotting the monster charging towards her. He rammed himself into her, shoving her off of the path in time for him to get hit.

Mistywater one moment was listening to the nice conversation they were having and all of a sudden Blacktwig had spotted his mate calling after him and decided to cross the Thunderpath without looking. Though she had to admit she would probably do the same to find her cross-Clan love.

Emberfall found herself shoved to the ground and looked up to see Blacktwig, he sacrificed himself for her? She ran over to check on him after he had gotten hit. She nuzzled him and soon was wrapping herself around him, waiting for him to get out of the hit, but she still didn't know if he was alive or not. She began to cry softly.

Long minutes seemed like dragged-out hours before Blacktwig opened his eyes once more, eyelids fluttering to reveal dazed azure orbs. "I'm alive," He gasped, dragging himself with his front paws over to the side of the road, Emberfall with him. "Mistywater," He called out weakly. "Stay... There..."

Mistywater did as she was told, just like she always had done. She looked at Emberfall, worried.

Emberfall watched as Blacktwig struggled, she just wanted to pick him up and help him, but she knew he wanted to do it by himself.

Blacktwig heaved himself up sharply with his paws, yet it sent a jolting pain down his arms. He let out a cracked yowl and collapsed once more, eyes watering. He pulled himself into the grass and masked himself. He drifted off to sleep.

Mistywater couldn't watch anymore, she tugged at Blacktwig's pelt and waited for him to wake up.

Blacktwig didn't flinch, yet after a little while his eyes opened. "I'm okay," he said, raising a crippled leg, then letting it fall. He cursed with a muffled breath, then turned his gaze back to Mistywater, panting. "I-I just need rest." He insisted, heaving breaths which seemed painfully sucked in each time.

Emberfall rushed over, she knew that it wasn't ok to cross territory but she did it anyways, helping Blacktwig along the way.

Mistywater helped Blacktwig by letting him lean against her soft fur "I'll get you back to ThunderClan camp and take you to the medicine cat to make sure your ok or not, alright?" she mewed as she walked easily on the grassy path of ThunderClan territory.

"Thank you," Blacktwig said, letting out a broken purr. He licked his mother's cheek, then pressed his nose to Emberfall's, using the rest of his strength to put more weight on himself, not the two she-cat's helping him.
