Swiftkit's Apprentice Ceremony

Vixenheart leaped up to the Tall Branch and looked out at the camp clearing, "Let all cats old enough to climb a tree gather beneath the Tall Branch for a Clan meeting!" She called, before waiting for the cats in the camp to gather.

Swiftkit immediately darted out of the nursery. Her smoky gray fur was well groomed and her eyes were bright and glittering with excitement. She was going to be the best apprentice ever! She bounced to the front of the crowd, pushing past others to get to where she was going to sit. An apprentice, yes!

"Swiftkit, please step forwards," Vixenheart said after spotting the gray she-cat amongst the crowd.

Swiftkit practically bounded forwards, not caring whether or not she was getting stares from the other cats. She would let her excitement out no matter what!

"Swiftkit, you have reached the age of six moons and it is time for you to be apprenticed. From now until you receive your warrior name, you shall be known as Swiftpaw. Your mentor shall be Pineeye." The deputy said, with a smile. She had taken a liking to Swiftpaw, and she was glad that the Clan had gained another valuable apprentice. After the cheering began, she leaped off of the Tall Branch to end the ceremony.
