Moonpaw's Warrior Ceremony

"Let all cats old enough to climb a tree gather here for a clan meeting!" The leader called.

Moonpaw padded towards the leader as soon as he called for the clan meeting, feeling like if she had a thousand live butterflies for breakfast. Finally she was going to become a warrior!

"Today we are gathered to make an apprentice into a warrior. Moonpaw please step forward." The leader said.

Moonpaw took a deep breath as she followed Crowstar’s instructions. She was doing her best to look calm, but she could feel her heart beating quickly against her chest. She honestly had a hard time believing that this was happening for real and not just in her dreams.

"Moonpaw, do you promise to be loyal to the Dark Forest and Skyclan and serve them for the rest of your life?" The black fluffy leader ask his apprentice.

Monnpaw raised her head “I do!” Her voice was firm and confident. Yeah, she had to admit that having to pledge loyalty to the Dark Forest still felt a bit awkward, but she just pushed that feeling away as soon as it came.

"Then by the powers of the dark forest, I grant you your warrior name. Moonpaw from this moment on you will be known as Moonlight. We welcome you as a full warrior of Skyclan." The Dark Forest Leader said then jumped off the branch ending the ceremony.
