Patrol(Closed)

Tulipheart called for her apprentice "Squirrelpaw do you want to train today?" she said. The sun beat down outside the barn, promising good prey

Squirrelpaw jumped up and out of spot over to Tulipheart. "Of course I do! What are we going to do?!" she replied excitedly.

" Today we are going to hunt, are you good at climbing?" she said padding out of the barn

"Yes! Wait! No! Well, I dont know! I've never done it before! Lets go!" she replied quickly as she ran ahead.

Tulipheart led her through a small part of a forest "if you want to climb trees watch closely" she jumped onto a low branch and dug her claws in the bark. She kept jumping until she found a comfortable spot to hunt "You don't have to if you don't want to" she said carefully jumping down "if you're not ready you can just hunt mice and other things for now"

"No! I want to try!!" she mewed very excitedly. Squirrelpaw jumped with all of her might only barely sinking her claws into the lowest branch, her back legs fumbling in the air. She dug her back paws in the air until they found hold on the branch and she pulled herself onto the branch. She panted for a moment catching her breath. Then she, paw-by-paw, turned and looked down at Tulipheart. "S-see Im f-fine!!" she mewed shakily, trying not to fall off of the branch.

"Good job now see if you can find a squirrel!" she said looking up at her apprentice

"O-okay!!" she mewed. She slowly hopped branch to branch, eventually gaining her balance and getting used to being in the trees. She spotted a squirrel on a branch slightly above her and in front of her. She crouched and wiggled her hips slightly before jumping forward, just barely sinking her teeth into the squirrel's body. She fumbled in the air again and eventually found her balance on the thin branch. She turned to Tulipheart with her catch in her jaws. "I did it!!" she mewed, the sound muffled with the squirrels body.

"Good job!" Tulipheart praised before running and jumping up to a bird who flew low "I think that's enough let's go back to the barn" she said

"Okay!!" she mewed proudly as she jumped from the branch and onto the ground. She followed Tulipheart closely as they padded back to the barn.
