Flamekit's Apprentice Ceremony

Flamekit sat up and blinked his eyes wearily, "Wh-what??" Flamekit finally realized what was going on, "Oh! I'm er.. Ready to go..."

"Come on out then, oh! And you might want to fix that fur on your head!" Mistpelt said as she ducked out of the nursery.

"Er... Ok." Flamkit pushed the fur on his head down with his paws, and then he followed Mistpelt out.

Mistpelt jumped up onto the Highrock and announced "Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey gather beneath the Highrock." she continued, "We're gatherered beneath the Highrock today to make this kit an apprentince." looking at Flamekit, she said, "Step forward."

Flamekit slowly stepped forward nervously.

"Now untill you recieve you warrior name, you will be Flamepaw." Mistpelt continued, "I will mentor you and pass on to you everything I can." jumping down from the Highrock, she touched noses with Flamepaw. "The ceremony is now done." Mistpelt meowed. "So Flamepaw, how do you feel, being an apprentice now and all."

"I.. Dunno..." Flamekit-er-paw shyly meowed, "I guess excited," Flamepaw smiled.

"That's good. Now, why don't you go and find yourself a place to sleep in the apprentinces den for tonight?" Mistpelt meowed, dismissing him with her tail.
