A Rose Blooms [For Rosekit]

The kitting was painful, and for all of her work, Ivyfall had only been rewarded with one living kit. Two kits had died, stillborns that she'd named Thistlekit and Dawnkit, but one survived. Little Rosekit, she looked so delicate and precious, the she-cat swore that nothing would harm her youngest she-kit, that she's keep her safe. "Rosekit." She purred, licking the kit to keep her warm and clean.

RoseKit Snuggled against her mothers warm belly. She was still deaf and her eyes were still closed, but she mewed and started to suckle. She could feel her mother, and was just about to fall asleep.

Ivyfall curled around the lone kit fully, her tail circling her when her body couldn't. Her pink tongue dragged over the kit's body, warming her and cleaning her further. "Sweet dreams, little one." She meowed, thinking of her own mother, Mistfeather and her long gone father, Duskfall.

RoseKit yawned and started to purr, while her eyes slowly closed. She was a small kit, but her purr was a loud rumble.
