Continuation of 'Hunting and Hanging'

Snowstorm and Oceanpaw walked into the camp. Snowstorm wasn't thinking how they have their camp back. She was thinking of darker thoughts. She was thinking of raiding where those two rogues live. Oceanpaw got Snowstorm into a nest inside her den.

Scout crept into the camp somehow not being noticed, he followed Snowstorms scent and quietly walked were Snowstorm was quietly laying. His eyes were soft not cold like they were when he fought "Hello"

Snowstorm's eyes slowly widened seeing Scout, but softened after seeing he wasn't attacking. Her thoughts also cleared. Oceanpaw looked up while putting cobwebs on her cheek. "What are you doing here? It's mouse-brained to just walk into a camp!" she said, confused.

"There's no need to be mad" he mewed calmly he looked at Oceanpaw "Your Oceanpaw am I right?"

Now, Oceanpaw was even more confused. How could he know her name? "Y-Yes.." she answered.

"Snowstorm" he looked at her his whiskers twitching "Don't attack us, we need food at the Abandon Barn so that's why me and Lulu went hunting we didn't want to hurt you" he pushed some plump mice over to her "This is what we are giving you in return"

"I'm happy with those mice, but we need food too. We just got our camp back, so we need a lot of prey." she said. Her eyes widened a tiny bit remembering something. "You do threaten us when you take our food, and I recall the Abandoned Barn having plenty of mice, so we wouldn't appreciate it if you hunt on our territory." she said a bit more sternly.

"How do you know what's been happening lately, anyway this is more food then one rabbit" he ushed them closer and twitched his ear

Snowstorm didn't think that Scout understood how serious this is. They took their prey, and Scout is acting like they did nothing wrong, and told her not to attack them. Yes, they didn't want to hurt her, but they'd probably kill one of the younger cats of starvation if they didn't give them those two mice. Oceanpaw finished healing her wounds. She got up. "Like I said a bit ago, I'm happy with those mice. I will warn you though, if you come back to steal our prey, I may hesitate to attack, but my clanmates won't. I'll go put those mice on the fresh kill pile. But remember, it's really serious when you hunt on our territory, you may have understood that if you lived in a clan." she said. She picked up the two mice and took it to the fresh kill pile.

Scout nodded and trotted out of the den, and vanishing into the forest
