Elkpaw's Warrior Ceremony

It was good to be home again. With a warm smile, Breezestar stepped out of his den and leapt up onto the tree he'd missed so. "Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey join here underneath the Tall-Branch for a clan meeting!"

Mapledrop padded out of the warriors den and padded over and sat down.

Elkpaw heard Breezestar call a meeting and trotted over. He found a spot and sat down next his mother, grooming the fur on his chest quickly, before looking up to listen.

OOC: I would like his warrior name to be Elkheart

He waited for the crowd to gather and motioned for the young tom to come forward before speaking. "I Breezestar, Leader of SkyClan, call upon my warrior ancestors to look down on this apprentice. He has trained hard to learn the ways of your noble code and I commend him to you now." His blue eyes shined as he looked at the apprentice. "Elkpaw, do you promise to uphold the warrior code, and to protect and defend SkyClan, even at the cost of your life?"

Elkpaw padded forward, willing that his legs didn't fall beneath him. "I do..." he replied.

Snowstorm was just outside the warriors den. She watched as her apprentice stepped forward. She was proud of her apprentices hunting and fighting skills. He earned this.

Treepaw watched the ceremony in excitement and couldn't wait until the day that would be her.
