| Dreamleaf turned her soft gaze away from Gentlekit as she noticed the little kit was getting nervous. She looked at Bluesong and she sat down.

| Gentlekit relaxed slightly as Dreamleaf took her eyes off her, and Bluesong gave her a lick. She nodded as her mother spoke, realizing she was right. The little grayish kit seemed to brighten at the thought of becoming a warrior. "I want to be a great warrior like you!" she purred at Bluesong. Gentlekit had no real idea whether her mother was a good warrior or bad, since she only knew her as a queen, but her own mother had to be just the best, didn't she? ______________________________________ Characters:
