Dappled's First Outing (open)

A tiny ball of blackish gray,ginger,and white fur stirred beside her siblings and a mass of blue gray fur that was her mothers. Dappledkit lifted her head her blueish green eyes looking around before she got up on her paws and started to half sneak half scamper out of the nursery. She paused at the entrance her flurry fur obvious against the entrance to the nursery. Quietly she set a paw outside of it and looked around.

Bluesong's head popped out of the nest as she felt the warmth of Dapplekit vanish. The queen frowned and gingerly moved out of the nest, careful to not disturb the other kits.

Dreamleaf padded into the camp with a couple of herbs she'd been able to find before the full wrath of leaf-bare. The calico medicine cat spotted Dapplekit, one of Bluesong's new kits. Dremleaf hurriedly placed the herbs in the medicine cat den then padded outside to greet Dapplekit.
"Dapplekit, this must be your first time out?" Dreamleaf questioned.

Dappledkit blinked not quite hearing her mother get up. She had been so busy focusing on the movements of the bigger cats,warriors and apprentices, moving about her bluish green eyes wide with awe. She jumped a tiny bit before she looked at Dreamleaf."Yeah it's my first time....shh momma doesn't know"Dappledkit mewed smiling a bit her tail flicking side to side."and my name is Dappledkit "she mewed caning her neck to look up at the she cat

Dreamleaf purred. Her fluffy tail swayed against the ground. Amusement sparkled in her eyes and she lifted her head as she say Bluesong exit the nursery. Dreamleaf's eyes glanced down at Dapplekit as she saw Bluesong's stern look turn a bit softer.
"Out so early, Dapplekit?" Bluesong smiled. Dreamleaf dipped her head to the queen in acknowledgment.

Dappledkit smiled a bit and blinked looked at Dreamleaf. Though her smile didn't last too long as she heard her mother's voice and the young she kit jumped fur puffing out in surprise. She turned quietly and looked up at Bluesong" o-oh H-Hi momma y-yeah I came out early I w-wanted to see camp" Dappledkit mewed her voice a bit high pitched for a moment before relaxing and she tried to get her fur to lay flat again.

Moonpaw poked her head out of her den as Dreamleaf came into camp. She quickly padded out of her den and padded over. Purring to her best friend the pure white she cat smiled at the kit and Bluesong. "Well Bluesong i don't think I've met your new daughter have i?" She meowed and her pale icy blue eye and her light green eye sparkled with warmth and sunlight.

Bluesong purred and padded over.
"Meet Dappledkit, Moonpaw," Bluesong smiled.

Dappledkit blinked fascinated by her two different eye colors before she blinked and mewed" you have different colored eyes" she mewed smiling some before she flicked her ear

"What a lovely name, Dappledkit. Why thank you, have you met the new kits Lostkit and Hollowkit? Lostkit has one dark gray almost black eye and one white almost silver eye. Also the left half of her is blacked the right half of her is white." Moonpaw meowed flicking her tail and smiling down at the tiny kit.

"N..no I haven't met the new kits " Dappledkit mewed looking up at Moonpaw quietly only to fall back or her black and ginger hindquaters.

Lostkit blinked open her dark gray almost black eye and her white almost silver eye and got to her. Half white on one side half black on the other side paws and plucked all the moss off of her fur, before going out and sitting in between Moonpaw's front paws, as a kit would do to her mother. Lostkit had kind of adopted Moonpaw to be her mother simply because she was the first cat to be nice to her besides her actual parents which she didn't remember much about, and because she was a motherly figure to her. She didn't know how Hollowkit felt about Moonpaw but her mind was made up.

Bluesong's tailed flicked at Lostkit and Moonpaw. She still felt uneasy how attached the kit seemed to be to Moonpaw, she was happy sure, but Moonpaw would still have to focus on training. Bluesong's mind drifted for a bit before she returned to reality. She remember when she was a kit and was curious of the forest outside of the camp.
"You know.... Once you guys are old enough, I could take you out of the camp before being apprenticed. But when you're 5 moons," Bluesong suggested out of the blue (pun intended).

Dappledkit blinked and looked up at her mother her eyes sparkling a bit" Really?! Cool momma I can't wait " she squeaked a bit.

Gentlekit, woken by a sudden coldness, opened her eyes to find her mother and Dappledkit missing. Getting to her paws, she stumbled out of the nursery. As soon as the little she kit saw how many cats there were around, her eyes widened in shock and she scurried towards her mother with a tiny squeak of terror. Hiding underneath Bluesong, she simply sat there, too scared to even look at the other cats.

Bluesong looked down to see Gentlekit's presence. She smiled at her kit then looked back at the other cats.

Dreamleaf's eyes lowered to Gentlekit who had made her home beneath Bluesong. A smile pulled itself onto the Medicine Cat's muzzle.
