StarClan Save Us [Leaffall/bare is Hell for TC, Final Plot]

And yowl in terror he did. Blackpaw had been dreaming about his dead sister, Stonepaw, and dead brother, Stripekit, when it came. He was surprised, no doubt. Everyone was. He blinked awake at the first rumble and he saw it- it flashed before his eyes, scaring him through and through. The water swished fast through the stony hollow and carried him away, the screaming tom unable to escape. Rocks, water, everything swished past, cutting him in places he didn't like- his back, paws, legs, face- it hurt. There was nowhere to go, he couldn't see. He struggled to swim to air, and found there wasn't much to escape to.

He found a bit of air when he swam a bit, and he continued to bump into other cats. The air was thin, and it was hard to heave through it even a bit. Starclan... Save me!

OOC: I was not expecting this

IC: Bluesong was swept from her makeshift nest and her mouth opens in horror. Nothing came out but a cluster of bubbles. The she-cat thrashed around until her head finally reached the surface of the water as she paddled around with pure terror.

Dreampaw had been awake the whole night working on her herbs when she heard the roar. The little apprentice ran out of her spot of herbs and let out a cry of terror as she was pulled off her paws. Her heavy fur began to drag her down and she struggled to stay afloat to no avail.

The first thing Frozenflame woke up to was the screams, then the freezing sensation of water surrounding him. Before he could open his eyes all the way, the water was smashing into the tom and flinging him deep into the tunnels of the stony hollow. Frozenflame couldn't swim up for air because the current was too strong. Before he knew it, the warrior smashed into a rock and what air he had left in his lungs was forced out by the impact. He had to act quick or he'd drown. Frozenflame unsheathed his claws and scraped at the rock's wet surface, trying to climb up. He managed to push himself up enough to get a breath of air, but then he slipped back into the water. He tried again, and kicked up with his back legs, and got on top of the rock this time.

The water level stopped just above the rock, but Frozenflame could still sit on it and there was just enough room between the water and the ceiling for him to breath. Now that he had an advantage, it was time to help out. A figure went past Frozenflame, it was his apprentice, Blackpaw. In a quick movement, he clamped his jaw around Blackpaw's scruff and heaved him up next to him on the rock. "Catch your breath, Blackpaw, because soon me and you are going to have to go back in there and help the others out. We need to find an exit out of this fox-hearted hollow!"

As Blackpaw was pulled out, he gasped for air, water-logged, tired and fearful. "T-Thank you. H-How many can we s-save? W-Who knows how f-far s-some of them have g-gotten now!" He exclaimed stuttering and full of panic. He continued to cough out water, lungs full.

Cloverpool who had been sleeping soundly curled up next to Frozenflame yowled in terror as she was awoken by cold water that swept her love away and then her. She went under and struggled to get to the surface. Finally she surfaced after what seemed like forever but when she surfaced she gasped and looked for two people, Frozenflame and her sister. She saw Frozenflame save Blackpaw and gave a sigh of relief. But here was Cucumberpaw? She looked around frantically and saw a cream figure floating on her belly with her head under the water. Cucumberpaw!!


Cucumberpaw was awoken by the cold current of water that swept her away and before she could yowl she was swept down past her sister and she saw trashing bodies. Her head hit a rock just as she climbed to the surfaced for a breath.

Cloverpool swam over to her sister frantically and grabbed her by the scruff and heaved her sister onto her back. Although Cucumberpaw was just an apprentice she was after all a full grown 28 moon old cat. She swam over to the rock Frozenflame and Blackpaw was on, with some difficulty. She reached behind her and grabbed her sisters scruff and managed to get her up onto the rock, and laid her into her back again so that her sister wasn't sprawled out onto the rock where some other cat might need to get up. "Dreampaw!! Blackpaw watch Cucumberpaw!!" She wiggled out from under her sister and dove in after Dreampaw. She swam over to the medicine cat apprentice and grabbed a hold of her scruff and draping her over her back. "Dreampaw just take a deep breath and hold on ill get you to that rock where Frozenflame, Blackpaw and Cucumberpaw are, just remain calm." She purred soothing to the apprentice as she started to swim over to the rock.

Cobrapaw had nust been sleeping in the makeshift nest. The warrior sized apprentice was completely caught off gaurd by the rushing water coming right at her. She only maniged a wail of surprise before the water hit her engulfing the spotted bengal in water as she smashed against the rock wall by the foforce of the water.

She felt the air get knocked out of her and for the first time panic set in. Quickly and rather unskillfully she scrabbled at the water trying to reach the surface for air. At first try she almost made it until a rock hit her and she sank again. Using most of her strength the apprentice reached the surface struggling to keep afloat her dhe blinked water from her bright goldish yellow eyes as she struggled to stay afloat and find some means of safety.

She didn't wake when the rumbling first came. Darkflight had been sleeping soundly, the rushing water only background noise in her dreams, and she soon forgot what it was she was dreaming about when the air was knocked out of her. The deep brown she-cat yowled in surprise before her mouth filled with foul-tasting water, thrashing about in a mess of tangled limbs. "Beanfoot!" she called out to her brother in the moment her head reached air. Starclan knew their family couldn't lose one more cat.

Her chaotic tumble through the dark water ended in a sharp jerk. The young warrior shivered as debris hit her constantly, long fur dragging her across the side. She couldn't feel it, but Darkflight was sure that it was her lame paw that got stuck, although she wasn't sure if it was a lucky catch or something that would doom her. In an attempt to pull herself forward the yellow-eyed warrior clawed for the tiny cracks that appeared every few tail-lengths. The disgusting water lapped at her chin hungrily, almost malevolently. Something large hit her, a cat! She reached out a paw and shoved the cat in front of her, whose scent she recognized as Cobrapaw. "Just keep..," the warrior spat out a mouthful of water. "Swimming forward."

Cobrapaw blinked still struggling the apprentice spat out water from her mouth every now and then. She felt a somewhat searing pain in her flank from where she assumed a rock or some sort of debris hit her but she didn't have time to worry about it. Quietly she said as she spat out water"i..im trying to"She said as she reconized the voice as Darkflight. She struggled a tad bit to swim forward she sank breifly as a peice of debris had grabbed on of her hind legs, that were thrashing in the water. As best she could she came back to the surface.

Cloverpool deposited Dreampaw on the rock with the others. "Cobrapaw this way!! To the rock!!" The tortisehell she cat meowed. "If Cucumberpaw is awake tell her I'm going to look for a way out and for her to start digging to the surface until she breaks through or until I come back with a way out! Go go! I'll be back!!" The warrior swam to where the water came from and struggled to keep over the water. She took a deep breath and dove under looking for a way out.

Meanwhile Cucumberpaw had woken up,. She groaned and rubbed her head with a paw, then she started to panic. "Wheres my sister!!?! Cloverpool!!! Cloverpool where are you!?!!!" She meowed a little hysterically.

Cobrapaw spat out water and struggled to swim to where Cloverpool was. She just barely managed to reach the rock. The warrior sized apprentice then scrambled up using about almost the last of her strength as she now was on the rock. She felt her side sting and the searing pain didn't go away even as she got to her paws. She went over to Cucumberpaw and mewed"she'....she's looking for ...a..a way out"Cobrapaw mewed slowly catching her breathe.

OOC: It's a storm water drain that they're in. There should be no rock technically, but we'll say there is one, however it will float away. As for escaping, they should be able to keep afloat and spill out onto a reservoir further down the pipe. Alternatively, they can try swim out the exit of the camp but remember there is a ton of water rushing through, it shouldn't be easy/near impossible to do. If you have a TC cat you want to be rid of, or got rid of without making a topic for them, here's your chance folks.

Viperfang had been napping in hollow, sleeping deeply as he always did in the relative safety of their new camp. On top of his thick mossy bed, the tom hadn't even realised that a trickle of water had become a thunderous wave until it hit him, knocking the wind out of the older tom. He yowled in warning, but for most it was too late. The camp was submerge, only the tiniest of gaps above the water level for people to breathe. The tom kicked out, looking wildly in between having his head dunked in the murky water, trying to make sense of his surroundings. He noticed that some cats had found a rock of sorts, and nudged a fellow warrior in the water, Bluesong to it.

But before he could get on for a bit of safety to take a properly look, the rock shifted, unable to take the extra weight. It shook for a second before the current slipped under and buffeted their only reprieve away. "Gah, Cobrapaw! Frozenflame!" He yowled after his daughter, and his father, worried for them as the rock tore through the water.

Stormpaw had been sleeping soundly when the thundering torrent of water hit him. He was unable to breathe and struggled to keep afloat. Soon he became exhausted and gave up on trying to keep afloat.This is useless he thought. I'll never be able to keep up with this. he had hoped he would become a warrior before dying. But it was lost now. With a final breath which ended up with his lungs full of water he drowned. Goodbye my beloved Clan. I had hoped I would did a more honourable death.

His agenda was full of things. Hang out with Bluesong, then go hunting at least five prey to make up for his slacking off, then rest again. But none of which included having to be disturbed of sleep and nearly drown in a river of polluted water. "Help me," Whimpered Ravenpaw, paws crazily moving around the water in attempt to pull himself up to the surface. StarClan, please no. I am too young to die. I don't want to go out like this! I'd rather be slathered by a cat in battle... He thought sadly, using his strength to climb to the top of the cat-swallowing current.

"I'm drowning... Help!" He called quietly, the water pulling him underneath again. His lungs burnt and stung like nobody's business, but he was pretty sure he was still alive. He soon passed out because of the lack of air. He couldn't hear or see anyone else's struggling, but he was still fighting to survive the tough lack of air.

OOC- Toy, I'll assume you're using Ravenpaw?

IC- As Blackpaw struggled to keep on to the slippery, wet rock, he had noticed just in time Ravenpaw struggling and finally passing out. His eyes widened. He'll die! "Frozenflame! Ravenpaw's passed out! I can't reach him!" He squealed in panic, terrified. As soon as he reached his paw out, the rock flipped a little bit and knocked him under water, the rock moving away faster than he could swim. It was hard to keep up with everything. Soon, he noticed Stormpaw was limp in the water, but he was too far away to do much now.

He fell under the water again, struggling to swim. He opened his eyes in the water just a bit to see cats kicking, swimming best they could out of the place they had called their 'camp' for such a while now. He struggled for air, but knew his lungs would be full of water if he struggled harder, so he stopped squirmed and eventually floated up. Now all he had to do was try to keep out of the water.
