The Truth leaks out (open)

It had been two or three days since Rushreed had had a dream where she was told she was even Riverclan in any way and that she was adopted. Of course it had come as a surprise to her since of the moons she really believed she was born in Riverclan. Though she wasn't and somehow that information was spread about camp and she already knew how some Riverclan cats felt about Thunderclan and other and then to be in Riverclan. She knew they would doubt her loyalty for one. The she cat was sitting just outside the warriors den quietly she had heard the words flit about her fellow warriors mouths about her and she chose she stay by herself. She laid there her blue eyes looking around quietly. Soon enough she heard approaching pawsteps.

Troutstep walked to the warriors den, wanting to take a break and rest. His gaze looked up from the ground as a familiar scent drifted to his nose. Troutstep stopped in his tracks, wondering what to say or do.

ooc- don't know if he'll accept her truth or nah. But we'll cross that bridge when we get there.

Ic:Rushreed blinked when she caught the familiar scent of Troutstep looking up she saw him on about a tail lenth away. She blinked her blue eyes and she looked away breifly"hey Troutstep"she mewed.

OOC: It all right if Halfpaw come in? If no just ignore dis post.

IC: Halfpaw walked to the warrior's den, wanting to see her brother Fallenblaze. Instead she ran into both Rushreed and Troutstep. Halfpaw had once admired the tom, but now wasn't quite sure what to think of him. Rushreed looked a little sad. "How are you?" the deformed apprentice asked worriedly. She knew how it hurt to hide feelings inside.

Fallenblaze looked a little anxious and unhappy. The news of his 'sister' being a fake spread fast and he was angry. However, the tom contained himself, only casting mean glances or angry states to Rushresd. He felt that she had been planning this or something, and he was enraged. But he kept himself, making sure not to get too angry.

Troutstep decided it was no use to take a mid day nap. He would never be able to sleep with everything on his mind. "Hello Rushreed." He said blandly with a blank expression. Surprisingly, the tom hadn't used that expression or felt so down in what felt like ages. "Hello Halfpaw." He gave the apprentice a nod. A flashback from the day he killed the ThunderClan cat raced through his mind.

Ooc yeah Halfpaw can join in.

Rushreed blinked and looked to the apprentice breifly"hi Halfpaw...no I'm fine really"She mewed. Though really she wasn't she kept wondering what would happen to her if the news had reached the deputy or leader. She just kept thinking about that and alarm would set in sometimes at the though. Even at tthe moment her fur bristled up untintionally. Quietly the she cat noticed and made her fur lie flat but she could also feel stares angry ones in her direction. Though she looked at Troutstep again and mewed somewhat quietly"how...have you been?"she mewed taking notice of his expression and breifly it felt foreign to her.

Oc: could Featherpaw join in?

Ic: Featherpaw had heard  the news about rushreed, she wasn't mad at her at all. Featherpaw padded up next to Fallenblaze and looked at him "Are you ok? I heard the news." Said featherpaw

"News? What news?" A voice recognizable as Salmonstripe's asked suddenly. "I'm suprised I haven't heard any of this 'news'. I thought I was up to date with the latest gossip." She chuckled, clumsily sitting down next to Halfpaw. She dipped her head to everyone before purring for no apparent reason.

Ugh. There were too many cats here- Fallenblaze didn't appreciate that. But then he heard the voice of the she-cat he liked, and paused, mid-getting-up. He sighed at her words. "Well, in truth, Featherpaw, I'm sad we have a traitor in the cl-" He started, but was cut off as Salmonstripe padded into the conversation as usual. He didn't hate her like he used to, no. But... Something just felt off about this whole situation- like he was missing the center piece of a puzzle. It felt, well... Odd. He sat now, and kept a frown upon his face.

So, Fallenblaze sat, eyes watching the crowd and picking up words. As he turned to the cat he thought was his sister, a glare filled with hatred burned in his eyes. Slowly, the tom got up, this time fully. His tail flicked with impatience, and his paws slightly shifted on his weight. "Rushreed, allow me to... Speak with you?" He asked, jaws clamped shut- and tight. His face and body now held no expression, but his tone held fierceness. "Now, if you may..."

Rushreed blinked and looked to who she had once thought her brother slowly she nodded and got to her paws.

Troutstep was about to reply when a crowd of cats came over. He gave a small growl, his ear lay flat. The tom watched as she walked about, but stayed were he was.

Briefly she stopped in her walk about. She felt a bit uncomfortable by the crowd of cats and looked to Troutstep breifly not sure what he though og the news but then she looked away quietly. She flicked her tail for a moment.

Fallenblaze growled, eyes dim. He flicked his tail for him to follow her to farther side of camp, more private. "Rushreed... I can't believe you," he growled, eyes in slits. "You stupid, ignorant traitor. How long?! How long have you known this?! You're not even a bit Riverclan. What, in the name of Starclan, is wrong with you? Have... " He said, tears pricking in his eyes. He loved this cat as a sister for so many moons, and she turned out to be his nightmare- a traitor. His claws unsheathed and he fought the urge to slice her somewhere. His back was arched, his usual happy-go-lucky and laid-back personality gone, replaced by a demon of himself.

"Leave. You don't belong here. I hope you know that, traitor. Go back to Thunderclan, Skyclan, the rogues, wherever. Just get out of my way." He growled. With shaky paws, he sliced her ear, whackingibg the side of her head. It wasn't enough to draw blood, but it would hurt worse than hell. A fire burned in his eyes. Leave.

Rushreed blinked trying to get a word in but he wouldn't let her. She blinked her ears laid flat when he clawed it telling her to leave"F..Fallenblaze...im.i didnt know until two days ago..."She mewed in a small voice but she could figure anything she said wouldn't matter.
