Fishface Patrol

Palefrost stretched her forepaws out, gazing around at the frost-covered territory around her. She heard a rustle in the bushes and looked up, suddenly finding that her apprentice was in front of her. "Hey, Swiftpaw!" she mewed cheerfully, straightening up and flicking her tail once. "Want to do some training?" she asked, smiling.

Swiftpaw looked up at Palefrost. My first day of training! she thought. "Of course!" she mewed.

Palefrost let out a mrrow of satisfaction, then began padding in the direction of the training hollow. "When we get there, we're going to work on the basics first. How does that sound?" she asked, looking over her shoulder and smiling.

Swiftpaw smiled up at Palefrost. "Sounds great!" she meowed. She thought to herself, What will we practice? Fighting? Swimming? Soon her and her mentor reached the training hollow.
