Rats in the Warriors Den (Inspired by an Adder in the Medicine Cat Den.. XP )

Goldenfeather woke up in the middle of the night to a shrill, squeaking sound. She forced open bleary eyes to see another pair of beady eyes staring back at her. Her eyes slowly adjusted to the darkness, and she realized that she was looking at a rat. The rat sprang forward and sank its teeth into her shoulder. Goldenfeather shrieked and jumped back, bumping into Graystream and Leopardheart.

Leopardheart growled and muttered. "Shut up."

OOC: XD Okay, fine. See how you like this.

Another rat sprang on Leopardheart and fastened its claws into her leg.

Leopardheart screeched and woke up. She pounced on whatever had bit her and killed it.

More rats came out of a crack in the wall. Goldenfeather tore the rat on her shoulder off and killed it, but another rat just took it's place. She felt blood begin to flow in the wound.

Leopardheart screeched at the rats. She lashed out her paws randomly, stunning some of them.

"Aww, come on... We'll never get rid of them all.." Goldenfeather grumbled, batting away a small brown rat.

"Someone help!" Leopardpaw screeched.

Goldenfeather turned around and padded up to Graystream. She prodded him. "Hey, Graystream.. Get UP! RATS!"

OOC: XD Ah, well, I still want to continue this. XD

When there was no response, Goldenfeather growled and turned back to Leopardheart. "Uh... we need help. Get the apprentices."

Leopardheart turned tail and ran into the apprentices den.

Shiningpaw woke up. "Huh wha?" she asked tired.

Meanwhile, Goldenfeather was finding it hard to control the rats in the warriors den. She yowled in surprise as she was knocked off her feet.

As this was all happening, Graystream was locked inside of his dream. Eventually, the noise was enough to awaken him and he quickly became alert at the sight of the large number of rats. Graystream looked at Goldenfeather who was knocked on the ground. He swiftly dashed around her, knocked away the vast majority of rats from her, and then quickly killed the few that managed to get on her, "Goldenfeather, are you alright?" He asked, his voice filled with worry. He looked behind himself and noticed more rats approching them. How could so many rats get inside of the camp... He thought strangely to himself as he began to swat more rats away. A couple managed to jump onto one of his hind legs.

Leopardheart pulled the rats off. "Where did they come from?"
