| Mistfeather stepped forward, honoured to be named as one of Fishstar's kit's mentor. Since Cinderpaw's untimely death, she felt a void in her heart. Her kit, her apprentice. Though none of her previous apprentices lived, her daughter's death was the most painful of all of them.
Shaking the thoughts from her head, she stepped towards her niece with a smile. "Congratulations Featherpaw. I'll do my best as your mentor to teach you everything I know," she meowed, her smile reaching her voice. She wondered if this is how her sister felt when the deputy gave her Bluepaw as an apprentice. Though she tried her best to avoid the thoughts of her lost kits, this situation brought up the memories. Hopefully Featherpaw would live long enough to earn her warrior name. | Ashcloud smiled and padded forward to greet his newest apprentice. He, too, couldn't help but remember his daughters. They were all just... gone. All but Wisteriapaw and Aspenberry. His son's attitude confused him, especially to his father. He loved his son just the same as his daughter, but didn't get it in return. Mentoring him hadn't helped.
The tom pushed that aside and touched noses with Leafpaw. To be trusted to mentor the leader's kits was an honor. "Of course you can train together," He purred, then looked up to Fishstar and gave a nod. ______________________________________ |
