Now he was an apprentice, yet, she loved him the same. It didn't bother her that her son was older; She just hoped he would become a warrior far before she did. 

Shaking her nasty and unpleasant thoughts away, Mousewhisker snatched a Mossball. "Playtime!"

Deadkit sat outside the nursery and watcher Mousewhisker.

Rainpaw, who loved his afternoon naps besides his mother, woke up to her excited mew. Springing to his paws and lashing his black tail he growled. "I'm the best at mossball!" His amber eyes brightened with excitement, he would always love kit games.
