| Meadow trotted from her den and jumped onto Flames's perch, relishing the familiar motions of bunching her muscles for the leap and skillfully steadying herself as her paws hit the rock. Waving her tail proudly at her success, she yowled out to BoneClan, "Let all BoneClan cats older than the age of four moons gather around me for an important ceremony." She had begun using the limit of four moons so that kits older than that limit would be able to attend the meeting; especially any kits that were about to become apprentices. She also didn't want to use the Clan limit of old enough to catch their own prey because.... well, because it's too Clan-y.
BoneClan was not a carefully-restricted and StarClan-guided Clan. It was a rogue Clan. It was tougher, more vicious, stronger, and prouder than the cowardly Clans from the forest. None of them - WindClan, ThunderClan, ShadowClan, RiverClan, SkyClan - trusted anyone but themselves from their own Clan and StarClan. And in Meadow's opinion, it was because they were so easily tricked by others, and because they so cowardly agreed to copying StarClan and following them around like lovesick rabbits. She snorted to herself as a chilling wind blew across the clearing. Leaf-fall was definitely coming soon.
