The tiny kit crawled on his belly to his father, gently snuggling against his warm pelt. He gave a small purr, then curled up into a tiny ball. He looked like orange ball of fur with some black and green thrown in.

Sunpelt purred lovingly, and curled his body around Goldenkit. He nuzzled his kit's head, and then rested his head on his paws, his heart aching with love.

Cloverpool smiled back and then nuzzled into him.

Minnowkit found her brother and pawed at him.

Summitpaw looked at Fawnwillow. "Do you want see them?" He meowed and gave her a lick on the ear.

Sunpelt rested his head on Cloverpool's shoulder and then he heard Summitpaw talking to Fawnwillow. He purred to them, "You can come in now to meet my new kits. Oh, they're also Cloverpool's, I almost forgot." The yellow tabby looked at his mate teasingly.

Goldenkit looked up at all of the commotion. He gently nuzzled his father, whimpering loudly. He squirmed into a corner, and waited for all of the huge cats to go away.

Sunpelt let out a grunt of guilt and called back out to Summitpaw and Fawnwillow, "On second thought, we should let Goldenkit get used to big cats." He waved his tail gently at his son. "Come here, little one. Don't be frightened. Mommy and Daddy will protect you."

Goldenkit hesitated. He gently crawled out of the corner, and he gently swatted at his fathers tail, only to then realize the massive cats standing above the newborn kit. He sat down, curling his tiny tail around his paws. "Mowwy and dadie wiw pwocect mew." He tried to repeat what his father said, only to backfire and ending up saying little mumbles and mews that meant nothing.

Sunpelt purred, shaking Goldenkit off of his tail. "Cloverpool, did you hear him? He almost said it correctly! I'm proud of you, Goldenkit. You and Minnowkit," he murmured. Then he flicked his tail into the air and waved it in front of his son. "Can you catch that?" the yellow tabby purred.

Cloverpool purred and gave her son a comforting lick on the head.

Minnowkit mangled to climb into on her brother. She mewled as if in triumph.

Summitpaw called back to Sunpelt. "Ok that's fine we can see them another time."
