Mottlepaw's Warrior Ceremony

"Let all cats old enough to capture their own prey gather underneath Jaggedrock for a clan meeting!" Thrushstar yowled.

Mottlepaw came wondering out of the apprentices' den and over to the jaggedrock wondering what Thrushstar had to say.

"Tonight we gather to make this apprentice a warrior," Thrushstar said. "Mottlepaw, please step forward."

Mottlepaw felt happiness grow inside him, but didn't show it. In a serious manner he stepped forward.

"Mottlepaw, do you promise to serve and protect this clan, as well as uphold the warrior code, even at the cost of your life?" He asked.

"I do." Mottlepaw said. He was finally becoming a warrior.

"Then from this day forward, you will be known as Mottleclaw. We welcome you as a full warrior of Shadowclan," Thrushstar announced before leaping off of the rock to let the rest of the clan finish the ceremony.
