After the confrontation of Glade

The to cats stood under a tree. Sandy was crying and Orbit was licking the tears of her cheeks."trust me, I know what being left by family is like. I've never told any cat but... Can you keep a secret?" Orbit said looking at the gloomy Sandy

"Ye- yes." Sandy stammered, "I can. Are you talking about Flames?" She asked.

"No." The she-cat said "when I was younger, just a kit and about a moon old, my mum came to me. I remember her bright, soft green eyes looking down on me. I had opened my eyes just the week before. And then, my mum says , you won't need me much longer. Next moon, I must leave you. I'm not joking. Neither was she. The next moon, she left me, a mere kit on my own. Then I found the burrow, learned to hunt. Never heard from her again." Orbit looked at Sandy, teary eyed. "I get what it's like to feel abandoned. It was your sister. Imagine, the mother who you thought that loved you just came and left you, without any support." She gasped. It was great to get all her secrets of her past out. She sighed and watched the rain pitter-patter on the ground.

"My... Mom a a abandoned us too... But we didn't eat normal food at that time... We drank her milk... And, one rainy night, she left us. We were less than a moon old. Then, we didn't need her sweet, milk anymore. We needed solid food. That was the night we met you." Sandy cried, then started sobbing harder.

"Hey hey" Orbit said "it's ok. That was why I want to be more of loners or a clan. Rogues leave each other and don't feel any guilt." Orbit made a melancholy smile and curled her tail around her paws.

Sandy nodded. "I guess our mom was a rouge... She left us..." Sandy mewed. "She never cared."
