| Salmonpaw awoke from the apprentice's den. Another apprentice... She thought wickedly as she thought about the scratch Willowkit gave her for having a deep crush for Roaringpaw. She probably could NOT beat me. I'll learn how to attack her and... and... I'll protect her! Then we will be friends. Salmonpaw looked at Willowkit- soon to be Willowpaw- and smiled. Her scaly looking fur bristled with exictment and fear of another scratch. She lifted up her tail, and purred, so Willowkit knew she was there. "Hi!" Salmonpaw whispered, very quietly, "I'm exicted for your apprenticeship." She proudly stepped back, unsure of how Willowkit would react to her greeting.

IC: Salmonpaw pinned her ears back and sat down. I wanted to be friends... she almost yowled, but instead, let out a very low growl. She then looked back up at Fishstar, and smiled, to let Fishstar know that Salmonpaw wasn't growling at Fishstar.
