June Gathering 2015

Blizzardstar followed his father into the clearing before settling near his Clanmates. He didn't feel comfortable near any of the other Clan cats, Gathering or not.

Larktalon stode in after Breezestar, tail high. He trotted over to an empty grass patch and sat down, eyeing the leaders. He flicked his ear at the sight of Duskfall. Where was Spottedstar?

Fawnspirit went and sat near the front, looking up at the leaders.

Scarletfrost saw Blizzardsky sit alone, and she stood up to go sit with him. She made her way over to the black and white tom and sat down beside him.

Frozenflame followed Duskfall into the clearing. He sat down and gazed up at the highrock. He wondered what it would be like to be deputy. He decided he wouldn't like it; that wasn't the job for this tom. He'd rather stay a warrior and help care for his kits. He imagined that deputies would be too busy for kits.

Blazingheart sat at the front of the crowed of clan cats, looking up at his friend who was now deputy. Though he wished he was deputy himself, he wasn't the least bit jealous of Duskfall. He respected the tom and was actually quite proud of the younger warrior. He thought of Duskfall as a brother.

What excitement! Badgerpaw's eyes glimmered as he followed Breezestar into the clearing, staring at all of the cats around him. While he felt suddenly uneasy by all of the cats of the different Clans around him, his pure joy dimmed the flicking flame of uncertainty. He paused as he glanced around as his tail flickered, attempting to find his siblings. He had ran ahead of his sisters in the heat of the moment, but he supposed he shouldn't go to far...He was sure they would want to sit together. So, deciding to find a good spot to sit, he wandered around as he waved between cats before finding a nice clearing and sat down as he wrapped his tail around his paws, his eyes scanning the group of incoming cats. Now he just had to hope that Stormpaw and Ocrapaw would spot him...

'Whoa!' time had finally came for Orcapaw to go to her first gathering, and she never imagined things to be so lively as this! The entire four trees seemed to be full already but there were only 3 clans here! Her ears twitched as she spotted Thrushstar, she had hopped that she wouldnt need to deal with Stumppaw tonight. The fluffy apprenticed padded forward confidently with the other group of skyclan cats, she didn't see her sister for awhile. She figured that she lost her in the excitment, after all Badgerpaw dashed infront of everyone earlier. Orcapaw's ears perked as she spotted Badgerpaw, with a grin the pretty she-cat bounded towards him tackling the oldest sibling onto the ground. "Badgerpaw! Hey!" The sister squealed with excitement, as she batted his nose but she quickly leaped off him, she needed to impress others tonight. Shaking out her fluffy pelt, she quickly cleared her throat. "So how are you?" She mewed curiously.

Rockfall padded after Breezestar, his amber eyes glinting in the moons light. Hopefully the gathering will be peaceful, well things in skyclan were rather peaceful, he couldn't say anything for the other clans however. As they reached the clearing he quickly took note of thunderclan and shadowclan, although Rockfall was a bit surprised when he didn't spot Spottedstar or Flameclaw anywhere? Instead Duskfall was in the deputys usual seating. And it seemed Specklefur was in charge of thunderclan, maybe they have interesting news for the entire forest. Although if each of them did join starclan, one thing was for sure, Rockfall wouldn't mourn them. It was Thunderclan after all that attacked them ever since they first arrived. Bounding onto his usual spot, the old deputy gave Duskfall a curt nod before looking towards the group of incoming cats.

Nngh Cry, Specklefur stepped down from the great rock and would be in the clearing with everybody else.I didn't rp tho since I'm busy atm))

"It's Duskfall, and I will explain everything once the gathering begins." The warrior spoke a little curtly, unwilling to address the issue of his mate with the Skyclan leader. He was well aware that his relationship with Softsong didn't garner much love from Skyclan, and though Thunderclan accepted her into their midst, this relationship was on a knife's edge regarding tolerance. Now was not the place he wished to bring these issues to light.

"So many cats..." Frostpaw commented, walking into the clearing where cats of all clans gathered around. Unlike her siblings, she had no intention of acting like a wallflower and raced over to a shadowclan apprentice to greet her.

"Hello!" She meowed at Honeypaw.

On the contrary, the gathering was just the place to discuss any issue as peacefully as possible, and when it came to Softsong, Breezestar had never gotten his say - not once. "Very well, Duskfall." He muttered in regards to Spottedstar and her missing deputy. As far as he could see, ThunderClan held no issues with him on the Great Rock, so he didn't press the matter.
Instead, he ignores the ThunderClan's curtness and went on to speak his mind - staring off into the crowd. "I was as angry as anyone when I 'd learned Softsong had left, if not angrier then them all." He mused, looking rather solemn.  "After all, we don't have strong blood ties to keep our clan together. Just a code and each cat's loyalty. I'd do anything to keep the SkyClan together." His blue eyes narrowed, "To find out that we were betrayed by her in that way, with the clan that spits on us... The ones that tried to drive us out and killed our own clanmates... It felt like fox fangs to the heart."

He let out a heavy breath, as if having to relive that hurt and anger. "I knew Softsong since she was a kit. We trained her among us. I gave her her warrior name myself. There are many in the clan who will never forgive her for what she did, nor you." Breezestar paused. "But... She has already made up her mind and picked where her loyalties lie, as I picked SkyClan long ago. As long as she is happy, then I have no right myself to judge her decision, regretful as that may be." He shot Duskfall a sharp look. "I should only hope your clan shows her the respect of a true warrior."


Honeypaw had paused in her tracks, flicking her ear and sensing a stranger coming up behind her. She didn't skip a beat in turning to greet them. "Hello, there!" she smiled, waving a tail at the other apprentice. "I'm Honeypaw. What's your name?" She gave her a curious look, wondering what clan she was from.

Softsong had followed after her Clanmates quietly when they had came in. She asked to come and had Rainkit rest with Hawkstrike and her kits so she could attend the gathering. The gray and silver she cat more or less avoided looking or speaking to her former clanmates.

Coalpaw just sat quietly where the other med cat apprentices and medicine cats were supposed to sit.

Despite his desire to talk about any issue other than this, the sleek brown tom listened respectfully as Breezestar spoke. He'd honestly been expecting to hear scathing words of hatred and anger, accusing him of both breaking the code and seducing away a she-cat from her clan. But he was surprised to see Breezestar was reasonable, not demanding his head or the kits they'd born to return to their mother clan.

The first cat Duskfall had ever met from Skyclan was Softsong, and frankly she broke many of the stereotypes he'd been raised with. Rhetoric about the traitorous and malicious ways of the rogue/kittypet blooded Skyclan that were spineless cowards. He'd grown to love her, but saw her still as an exception. Perhaps he was wrong to think this, but it was too soon for him to decide.

"Breezestar, Softsong left out of love, not the desire to wound you or any other. And I assure you, she is a respected member of our clan now, a queen that has raised many kits that Thunderclan are blessed to have. Our kit, Coalpaw is our medicine cat apprentice." He continued. "After all our history, we may never be friends, but I would like to thank you for raising a fine warrior. I swear that she is happy with us."

The gray tabby held back a slightly unamused sniff, finally spotting the former SkyClan she-cat as she moved her way through the crowd below, keeping her head down as to not be seen. Unfortunately for her, it didn't help as much when you looked from above. The least she could do was show some pride, he thought, but he couldn't blame her for hiding either.

"It's good to hear that she's found her place in the forest," he said simply. The distaste between the clans was no secret. He wondered how they'd convinced Spottedstar to let her join the clan, much less how the stoic ThunderClan had chosen a code-breaker to take their leader's spot in the gathering, but that was none of his business.

Softsong soon sat down flicking a gray eat as she sat curling her tail around her paws before looked up for a moment seeing her mate and her former leader Breezestar before she looked around for someone to talk to. She hadn't really came to a gathering since she had joined Thunderclan. Though she had thought she should.

Coalpaw got to her paws and padded over to her mother to talk to her.

Blizzardsky felt fur settle beside him. Glancing to the side, he saw the brown she-cat's fur and felt a purr rising in his throat. How hadn't she seen her sitting in the crowd? He hoped she didn't think anything of it. "I haven't been to a Gathering in a few moons. I'd almost forgotten how crowded it can be." His gaze landed on Duskfall. "Where's Spottedstar? Was she here for the last Gathering?" he asked Scarletfrost.

"I'm Frostpaw!" The white she-cat responded in turn, her white fur fluffing up in excitement too learn another cat's name. She had no clue what clan Honeypaw was from, but she was simply keen to meet new cats. After all, this was a gathering, she'd never met another clan's cats before and this was her golden opportunity. "Which clan are you from?"
