First out-of-camp adventure (open to anyone)

Blazingpaw yawned as he woke up in the apprentice's den. His first night there had been a good one, but now he was ready to explore the territory. Before he left camp, he quickly ate. The apprentice padded out of camp. Blazingpaw was amazed at how big the territory was. He soon came to a clearing that had four trees surrounding it, and a big rock in the middle. "This must be where the gatherings are held at," he said to himself as he walked over and examined the great big rock. He sniffed the air, smelling another cat near-by. Blazingpaw looked around, searching for the cat. "Hello? Is anyone there?" He asked nervously.

"What are you doing out here all by yourself?" A voice asked in the midst of the bushes across the way. Walking through the brush, Fennelcloud appeared in front of the Thunderclan apprentice. "You seem to be a long way from home, kit," she hissed. Normally she wasn't this menacing or this... rude, but this was another clan cat she was dealing with. She could smell the scent of Thunderclan from a hundred fox-lengths away, and she knew for one thing that she did not like Thunderclan. Not after what they had done to Skyclan. Although, she didn't recognize the apprentice. He wasn't someone she saw at the battle, but it didn't matter. As long as Spottedstar was in charge, they were all the same. Glaring at Blazingpaw, she dug her claws into the earth underneath as much as she could on the frozen ground and through the snow.

Blazingpaw narrowed his eyes at the stranger. He crouched down. "Kit? Okay, listen, I don't want a fight," he said, noticing the other cat's unsheathed claws. He sniffed the air for the cat's scent. Is that Skyclan I smell? I've heard stories about them, He thought. He knew that they were enemy clans and mostly made up of rouges and kittypets. Blazingpaw was worried because he hadn't had much battle training. "So back off, Kittypet." He immediately regretted what he had said, knowing that he had mad the Skyclan cat angrier.

Looking at Blazingpaw in confusion at first, Fennelcloud narrowed her eyes and flattened her ears onto her head. "You have no right to talk to a Shadowclan warrior like that, Thunderclan scum!" she hissed, but she didn't get closer to the apprentice. It was pretty obvious that he was new. He looked like he had just gotten out of the nursery almost. At the recognition of that, she calmed down a little, sheathing her claws again and perking her ears back up. It wasn't every day that she met someone that she actually had authority over. "Those are some big words coming from a small cat," she sneered.

OOC: oh, sorry. From your post, i thought Fennelcloud was in Skyclan.

IC: Blazingpaw hissed. Scum? He relaxed the slightest bit once he saw the Shadowclan warrior calm down a little. Once Fennelcloud called him a small cat, he tensed up a bit. "That sounds like something a kit would say, pussycat," He replied. Honestly, Blazingpaw wasn't the best at making comebacks.

OOC: oh it's all good cx I didn't exactly say that she was from Shadowclan so it's understood~

A small chuckle came from the she-cat's throat as she suddenly lightened up. She couldn't really keep up the act for long. Yeah sure, she didn't want to talk to this pesky apprentice, but the fact that he was just trying to stand up for himself (and somewhat failing) was so amusing. "Alright, calm down Thunderclan cat. I'm not here to argue or fight you, even though you'd be running with your tail between your legs by now," she told him, mumbling the last part about him running way underneath her breath. "What are you doing out here all by yourself?" This time when Fennelcloud asked, she was actually being sincere about it. It was unusual to see an apprentice alone. Sure apprentices sneaked out on occasion but not into Fourtrees. Whoever was the mentor of this apprentice didn't seem to be that great.

Blazingpaw relaxed as the other cat lightened up a bit. "Well, I was just adventuring and exploring the territory and I came here." He paused for a moment before asking, "What are you doing here?"

If cats could raise their eyebrows, Fennelcloud would have totally just done so. "You're still avoiding my question," she pointed out. "Where's your mentor?"

Avoiding? She didn't ask me any other question, The Tom thought as he stared at Fennelcloud. "I don't know, probably back at camp," He answered. "I came out alone."

"So nothing's changed then," she grunted. "Thunderclan is just as lousy as it's ever been!"

Blazingpaw growled. "Thunderclan is not lousy," he hissed. "I just came out alone, that's all." He narrowed his eyes, but kept as calm as he could.

ic: Lagging behind came a large black and white tom. His breaths came out in long, smoky clouds as he stopped in his tracks, his breathing slightly labored. He had followed Fennelcloud, curious as to what she was doing. The cat- Blizzardpaw -stared at the two cats. Although he was only an apprentice, his warrior ceremony had been put off for several moons due to greencough, so the tomcat was easily a warrior already. He stared, eyes glinting in the shadows of trees. Fennelcloud was his sister, but they didn't talk much. He could see now that she had the same hostility toward ThunderClan that he had. Stepping forward, he hoped Fennelcloud wouldn't snap at him for following her. "ThunderClan is lousy," Blizzardpaw stated as he emerged, gaze burning into the apprentice.

Surprised to see Blizzardpaw out here, Fennelcloud turned to face her brother for a second before turning back to Blazingpaw. "Apprentices aren't meant to be out of camp on their own. They usually get lost... or worse, killed." she said.
