Starlit Bellatrix

The moon shone in the sky, turning the almost black sky near it a creamy blue. Brambles rustled, and green eyes peered out from behind a bush. "Perfect!" Someone hissed, and a black cat stepped out of the shadows, the moon turning her pelt silver. "I've found a nice place to stay for once. There is enough cover around that even during the day I can still hide in the shadows." The she-cat meowed thoughtfully. "What type of prey is there, anyway?" she asked herself. The black cat stiffened and slightly flattened her ears as soft paw steps sounded behind her.

A white she-cat stepped out of the bushes and padded up to the other cat. "Greetings, Bellatrix. How are you this nice evening?" She purred. Bellatrix hissed and stepped away from the white she-cat. "I am good. How are you, Starlit Crystal?" she growled through clenched teeth. Starlit Crystal frowned and stepped away. "Hey, now! No need to take that attitude!" she scolded lightly. Bellatrix bristled. "I can talk how I want to who I want!" she hissed. "Why are you even here?" Starlit Crystal sighed. "I'm your sister, Bellatrix!" she explained. The black she-cat rolled her eyes. "I know that!" she growled. "Maybe we-" The white she-cat was cut off by a glare from Bellatrix. "I-" Bellatrix slashed out at the white she-cat, and Starlit Crystal whimpered as claws raked down her shoulder. Scarlet blood oozed out from the cut, staining her beautifully white fur. "Stop! Bellatrix! What are you doing?" she cried. Bellatrix growled. "Defending my territory!" she hissed. Starlit Crystal ran from the clearing, not ever looking back.
After a few minutes of standing in the same spot, Bellatrix's head drooped. "What have I done?" she whimpered. Turning around, she sat with her back to the white moon.
