Bellatrix meets her match

A black she-cat circled a giggling and grinning Twoleg kit with fangs bared and sharp claws unsheathed. The poor thing didn't even understand why the black cat was angry. The kit was giggling and pulling on Bellatrix's ears and tail, and she hissed and lashed at the kit. A cry could be heard from behind her. "Bellatrix! Stop! It's just a kit!" Starlit Crystal shrieked. A wail came from the kit's mouth, and blood seeped from the skin where she'd cut it. As the Twoleg kit screamed, the door to a Twoleg nest swung open, and a bigger Twoleg rushed out. Bellatrix ripped herself from the kit and slunk away. When she turned around, the older Twoleg was slowly walking toward her, a hand outstretched. She reached out her head, making the girl think she would allow herself to be petted. Instead of placing her head in the big pink paws, she opened her mouth and struck a finger. Biting down hard, she jerked her head and ran. The girl screamed and grabbed her finger. When she got to the bushes where her sister was, she slipped into the shadows. Hearing the door slam, she looked at Starlit Crystal. "Bye." she mewed and ran off, leaving the white she-cat with the Twolegs.
