Duckkit's Apprentice Ceremony

Dewstar was perched on top of the Highrock, feeling the warm breeze ruffle her short fur. "Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey join beneath the Highrock for a Clan meeting!"

Duckkit walked out of the nursery he was very excited. "Who is going to have there ceremony?" He asked prancing around and then sat looking up at his leader.

She watched the kit play trot around in excitement before continuing on. "Duckkit, you have reached the age of six moons. You must now be apprenticed, so that you may learn the ways of a warrior. Until you become a warrior, you will be called Duckpaw and Swifttail wll mentor you. I trust him to train you well, despite his young age."

Duckkit- Duckpaw froze and looked around for Swifttail to touch noses. He felt like bursting with excitement but decided to keep his cool.
