Cloudykit nodded. "Of course! You can trust me."

Badgerkit took a deep breath. "M...my dad was a rouge and my mom was a Shadowclan cat. My dad and I hated each other...I'm not sure why. My mom noticed this, so she took me into Shadowclan. I don't know what happened to my dad...or my other siblings. I think that they are dead." He was about to cry, but he held back his tears.

Cloudykit gave him a sad look. "At least you know your real parents. All I remember is my brother and I, and one day he stopped moving. He didn't move for a long time, and the bugs took to him, so I...left. And then Bearmask found me." She rubbed her head against his shoulder. "So I know how you feel. But you should stay happy! Because you have your mom and your Clan and me!"

Badgerkit paused for a moment. "Uh Cloudykit...I'm afraid to say this...but i think that your brother died," He said sadly.

Cloudykit sighed. "I just...can't quite come to terms with it yet. Call me what you will, but he's alive in my heart still. He was my only family, I couldn't let go just yet. But now I can start."

Badgerkit looked away. "I'm glad that we are...friends now." The word 'friends' felt strange in his mouth.

Cloudykit smiled. "I'm glad you like me more now. And before you ask...I already considered us friends. Everyone is my friend right now, and I'd like to keep it that way." She smiled and purred.

Badgerkit slightly smiled. He felt a tiny bit better now that he had afriend.
