Being introduced to Danny after Jon left was like being introduced to sprinkles when your hot fudge has been compromised. Sure, you no longer have hot fudge for your icecream, but too much chocolate is not too great anyway, so yay sprinkles.

And Ross is the cherry. Not everybody likes cherries.

That was a terrible analogy for the amount of time I spent sitting there to conjure one up.
