Welcome da wind kitty :D *shot* [OPEN?]

Nightfire quickly padded through the territory, Ivyleaf following him. Hopefully no one would question where he was all night, and would just move onto the new issue. Ivyleaf joining the clan. He loved her deeply, and her agreeing to join with him in his own clan, was amazing to him. But, he would have to pretend that Ivyleaf had met him in the woods, wanting to talk to Dewstar. They wouldn't accept him or her if they told them they were mates. Entering camp, he quickly saw Dewstar, and jogged up to her, quickly lying smoothly. "This cat met me in the territory, and claimed she wants to talk to you. She has a....situation... " he mewed, dragging out 'situation' not sure if he should plain out say she was expecting kits. Nightfire looked back to Ivyleaf, waiting for Dewstar to answer. Hopefully not much attention was grabbed around camp

Ivyleaf had walked in with Nightfire, looking around with curious eyes, but stayed dead silent, her heart pounding so hard it seemed like it was in her throat. They padded up by Dewstar and Nightfire started talking to her, talking about a situation. W-what does he expect me to say? she thought to herself, panicked. She couldn't just waltz in and say, 'so, yeah, I love your medicine cat and he got me pregnant.' She couldn't give him up, and destroy his dream of being medicine cat, so she decided to let the conversation carry on by itself, praying that StarClan hadn't given up on her, and that there was no WindClan scent on her, so she could lie and say she was a rogue or something. Lying wasn't all bad.

Dewstar looked incredulously at the she-cat. WindClan? What would she be doing here? "I thought you would know better than to bring in random cats from other Clans. Very well; I'll hear your story." She had been lounging in the sun, quite enjoying her evening before the interruption. Dewstar sat up and wrapped her tail around her paws to hear the explanation. Does Falconstar have something to do with this? She wondered, her eyes narrowing slightly.

Ivyleaf forced herself not to run in the corner and start crying. Way to go, Nightfire, putting her on the spot like that. She gave a small cough as Dewstar stared at her with narrowed eyes. "I... err, you probably already know I'm from WindClan..." she couldn't help but stumble her words. "I don't want to be in WindClan," she told Dewstar, her voice more clear this time, knowing the leader would ask about her expecting, since her belly was getting swollen enough for others to notice.

"You don't want to be in WindClan." Dewstar repeated, unimpressed. "You don't want to be in WindClan. A foolish decision you have made!" She stood up now, her full size the same or perhaps more than Nightfire's. Her ears flattened back as well. "Falconstar would not be pleased to hear of this. Nightfire! What have you done, bringing this queen here? He probably doesn't know where she has wandered to, and after the kidnapping of the WindClan apprentice, he would be greatly angered to find out about a queen bearing WindClan kits suddenly disappearing in the direction of ThunderClan!" She was angry and annoyed with her former apprentice. Pacing back and forth and tail lashing, she tried to come up with a way to deal with the situation. Since she was unsure how long the pregnancy would last, they would either have to send the queen back right away or wait until she gave birth and send the whole family back. Family... "You." She turned to the WindClan queen suddenly, her eyes flashing. "Why come here without your mate? Or better yet, why come to ThunderClan at all?" Suddenly, suspicion filled her. The only reason an expecting queen switched Clans was to be with her mate. Someone's been disloyal!

Nightfire pokerfaced flattened his ears and lashed back out to Dewstar, feeling even without his love for Ivyleaf, it would have been right anyway, the story and all. "Don't go blaming me! I am a medicine cat. I help those in need! This queen was in need, and there is probably a good reason why she wouldn't want to stay in her clan. Maybe she thinks you would be a fair leader, and would rather raise these kits of hers here! You cannot blame me for my insticts of being a medicine cat." he growled right back. Had Swiftnose ever retorted back? He never seemed to, he always bowed down to her. He was a friend to all the clans, and he was going to help a cat in need, especially his new mate.

Spottedfeather pricked her ears as soon as Dewstar started a commotion, and padded closer. The Windclan cat that came didn't bother her much, since Nightfire was bringing her. But Dewstar was apparently upset, so she decided to interfere. "Is everything okay?" she mewed

"I won't go back to WindClan," Ivyleaf mumbled to Dewstar with pleading eyes.

"I wouldn't consider this a need." She growled sharply. "And I don't think of Falconstar as unfair. But I haven't seen him lead, so I suppose I wouldn't know. And I suppose I couldn't blame you, either, for doing what you thought was right. But know that it was a mistake." Dewstar turned to Spottedfeather, having calmed down some. She heard Ivyleaf's whimper, but paid no mind. "No, it's not okay. We just had a war on ShadowClan and the only reason WindClan joined was because of a kidnapped apprentice. Whether they think we kidnapped this queen or resent us for her switching loyalties, it's bound to get us in trouble with them. And StarClan knows the only reason cats switch loyalties- a pregnant she-cat, no less -is because of disloyalty. Disloyalty to a Clan, disloyalty to a leader. Disloyalty to their own brothers and sisters. Disloyalty due to the switching cat's mate- the one in the other Clan." Her words turned into a hiss as she went on. "I'm not 'okay' with this because I know that we have a disloyal cat in our midst. Whom, though, we should find out soon before they bring destruction unto our Clan in who knows what way. And I'm not 'okay' with this because I know that the queen and her kits may very well be disloyal to us."

Ivyleaf took a small, timkd step forward. She cleared her throat, wondering what her life would be like, had she found a mate in WindClan and stayed there. "I understand your concerns, Dewstar," she began, "but I promise me being here will cause no harm to your Clan. Falconstar isn't that type of leader - I came here of my own free will." She didn't know what else to say, being so intimidated by Dewstar. "I would do anything to protect this Clan Dewstar, please let me stay..."

OOC: What? She hasn't agreed to letting her stay.

IC: "Well there could be other reasons" Nightfire mewed before sitting and letting his mother and Dewstar deal with the situation

"Hmmm, well I trust that for now at least, we can watch and see if any cat... favors her. Other than her getting proper care. If we suspect anyone, then we can deal with that later" Spottedfeather replied after she took all of Dewstars info.

The leader's ears folded back, plainly showing her frustration. Her eyes softened a bit as she turned to look at the pregnant queen once more. "I understand your... predicament. But I hope you would also understand mine. Falconstar is an extremely valuable ally to have, and ThunderClan hasn't been in anyone's good graces up until now. That's my whole lifetime, and I'm much older than... well, anyone in this camp." It was very true. She would have retired a long time before now if she hadn't unexpectedly been called to the leader's duty. Her age started to show as her fierce demeanor faded and an old, tired look came across her white-flecked muzzle. "Maybe I'm not making a good decision. But it's my decision to make, and I'm sending you home." Her voice and composure grew hard once more and she spoke now to her old apprentice. "Nightfire, escort her to WindClan camp and make sure no harm comes to her."
