Soulpaw is bored.

Soulpaw padded out of the apprentice den. He yawned and walked over towards the middle of the camp and laid down in the sunlight trying to get as much as heat as possible considering it was pretty cold outside and they lived in the shadiest place in the whole forest. He purred at the relaxing warmth and stretched, waiting for something to do. The apprentice was really enjoying the rest until some one pawed at his stomach. He perked his head up and stared at the cat. "Huh?" He said tiredly.

Whitekit burst out of the nursery and crashed into Soulpaw.
"Oh HI! Sorry! Im really excited right now!" Whitekit jumped in circles.

Spiritkit flattened her ears.
"Whitekit! Quiet down would'ya?" she grumbled.

Scorchpaw strode into camp from the entrance, carrying a rather plump mouse, for the season. He noticed Soulpaw sitting in he center and padded over to him. "Morning." The dark grey tabby tom greeted as he setdown the prey. "Want some?" He offered bluntly.

Soulpaw sat up and flicked his tail. "Sure, Scorchpaw." Soulpaw said kindly. He realized the cat changed and decided to be nice to him for once. The apprentice lowered his head and took a small bite out of the plump mouse and chewed it. He swallowed the piece down finally and licked his muzzle. "Nice catch. It tastes really good." He commented as he swung his tail to the side, barely hitting the kits behind him.

Whitekit then hurried over to the nursery then starting pacing the enterance like an impatient monkey.

Moonkit stepped out of the nursery to explore. She saw Scorchpaw and shrunk back a little.

Soulpaw let out a meow as he stretched a third time. His lazy eyes trailed over to the nursery where a kit was hiding. The apprentice laughed lightly and smiled at the kit, trying to give off the impression that he was friendly and meant no harm.

Whitekit looked up at Soulpaw.
"Soulpaw, Guess what!" Whitekit merowed.

Soulpaw perked up his ears and looked down at the kit. "What?"

Moonkit peered at the other cat woth curiosity. She stayed hidden.

"I'll be an apprentice like you soon," Whitekit crouched down and his tail quivered in the air.

Shadeflame was bored so he padded over, a mouse still between his jaws. "Hey guys," he mewed. "Whatcha doing?"

Lionstrike stayed where he was, snoozing, on his belly, but with his ears still pricked.

"Lionstrike!" Whitekit bounced over to the golden tom.

Lionstrike blinked one amber eye open, and looked at the small kit before him. "Oh, hey Whitekit," he mewed sleepily. "Did you need something? Or did you just want to disturb my sleep?" He sat up, blinking his eyes open, squinting in the harsh sunlight, and yawned widely.

"When I become an apprentice, I hope you become my mentor," Dragonkit whispered.
